1 out of 5 stars Actually it's more like -10 stars.......2006-02-24

Alright, seriously, F#&@ YOU if you think this deserves even one star. As if his debut album wasn't horrible enough, how can anyone possibly justify a live album based on material off of that one album? Wanna hear a f-ed up version of "Satisfaction"? Go listen to the Stones themselves perform it post 1969.......F%$* this idiot. This is the pinnacle of the opportunism and greed of the music industry. As much as I disagree with the idea that everything should be readily available for free download, this piece of s%&^ makes a good argument to the contrary. Awful! I never even listened to it.....but having heard a copy of his debut from an unfortunate friend who made the mistake of purchasing it back in high school, I have to say that this is possibly the worst album ever released by a major label. WOW! I can't even believe that this is listed on here. Some things really should be deleted from history after all. This is 100% proof that his record label realized that he had 0% future beyond his first album and attempted to make as much money as possible with his fleeting sales. For further torture, see his follow-up recordings and VH1 specials. Insert vomiting here.....

3 out of 5 stars Good live album, but it was released too quick.......2005-06-19

I still like this live album, though the sound quality can be rough in some spots. I still love Rollin' in My 5.0, Satisfaction and the ultra funky numbers of I Like It and Play that Funky Music. Ice Ice Baby sounds strong here, but I prefer the album version. I think that this album came out too quick in the helm of Vanilla Ice's To The Extreme multi platinum success. It sold well, but it just came and went that summer in 1991. His label should have focused on more singles from Extreme, but they didn't. They wanted to put it out while he was so red hot and it failed. They even wanted him to do a movie and it bombed at the box office, turning some people off. The announcer and the girls screaming on the recording come off as so funny sometimes and a little loud. So you can see why Ice doesn't talk about this live album as much. Sometimes, you don't want to overhype a new artist starting out so big and that's why people have calmed down a bit these days with promoting artists. Let's hope they don't try to rush a live album to the public like that. Vanilla Ice would have taken another direction with his career other than this uneven live album.

5 out of 5 stars Ice Man Rules!.......2005-01-07

This is an excellent early 90's album. The live version of Ice Ice Baby rocks and makes this album worth owning. There are also some pretty good new songs not on (To the Extreme).A really cool live album for Ice fans. Also Ice's version of Satisfaction is not to be missed. All of Ice's albums old and new are cool. The Ice man is cool.Deal with it.

    Album Description

Like many artists before her, Christin is now moving from her church roots to the world. Light years from her last project, For the Love, produced by Paul Moak, Nashville, covers the gamut of great, hard hitting, catchy pop & rock to an amazing jazz ballad. Even before the street date it was picked up by WitchBlade for this Fall's season, for several compilation CD's including Guitar Girls, out of Los Angeles, CA. The first release went to #11 on MP3 the first week out. Her critically acclaimed songwriting is passionate, transparent and musically excellent. Her heartfelt lyrics intertwined with the music and her stunning vocals make this CD rise to the top.

    Customer Reviews:

    4 out of 5 stars groovey.......2002-12-04

A ton more spicy than her first CD. The first song on the album is catchy and groovey along with a handful of other tracks. a few tracks are pretty but a little too slow to fit with the rest of the album. great album though. i expect to hear more from Christin in the future. she has snazzy stage presence and just needs a committed band behind her.

5 out of 5 stars Music to honestly reach you where you are.......2002-09-06

"For the Love" is an incredible cd. The lyrics are honest and really grab you because I think you'll find yourself in at least a couple of these songs. "Beyond Me" remains my favorite on the cd, and it's a great ballad that really touched me because I find myself at that point in my life often and realize that it's out of my hands now. She expressed perfectly the despair tinged with hope that grabs you at just that moment when you realize it's time to give up for now. Every song on here is a winner, and I highly recommend it. Thanks for the music you make and the ministry you live, Christin. I'm looking forward to your next one!

One man and his stringed instruments! This recording is a wonderful mix of Don's acoustic brilliance and humour! His music is honest and his voice goes from earth to sky with ease. He's also very funny! Listen to his stories and comments between songs and get a good chuckle! If you have the opportunity to see this man in concert, DO IT! Otherwise, buy this recording. It's the next best thing.
