A wonderful Selection of great Harmonies and Novelty Tunes by this Relatively Unknown Group in America , This terrific German Group is a must for anyone that enjoys Good Harmony and just Plain Vocal Fun with Sounds and Lyrics. Highly Recommended and Enjoyable.

Good stuff and nostalgic....however, I wish they would have had the extended version of everything (specifically Royal Cash's Radioactive). Oh well...

On a whole, a good list of stuff for the high side 30-somethings to remember their youth!

Anyone familiar with my postings knows that I am an absolute HATER of the high-tech drek and computerized synthesizer-banging garbage that flooded the airwaves and dancefloors as well as assaulting eardrums and good taste in the early 80s. But there are a few good tunes here. Royal Cash's "Radio Activity" was to me the best of this genre because as much as I despise synthesized music, this was a clever, catchy, and funky little tune filled with funny catch-phrases (who that-who that-who that trying to be bad) and comedy routines ("I have an electronic stereo..it has dolby noise reduction..." if you remember the tune from 1983-84, I need not say more). Some decent rap from Whodini is on "5 minutes of Funk" and a little bit of good R&b is on Skyy's "Call Me" and "Walking on Sunshine," but as far as "Shackles on My Feet," "Tour De France," etc. ad nauseum...YECCHH!!! They can keep that!

WOW! What a great CD! Bring back the 80's man! This CD has all of the songs from the earily 80's Break Dancing Era. I enjoyed Radioactivity and Tour De France the most. "Let's Jam, Let's Jam Radioactivity" and "Pal la vue misure, Tour De France Tour De France" (smile). I was a 3rd grade break dancing and pop locking when these songs were released back in 1983. Last, "Shackles" by R.J.'s Latest Arrival was the best break dance song ever written. This is the best CD I have ever purchased that has the 3 most popular break dance and pop locking songs from that time period. This is a must buy and I highly recommend this CD because it contains some of the songs and artist who pioneered Rap and Hip Hop with Electronic Beats, Drum machines, and Mixing and Scratching. "Shackles on my feet, won't let me dance, Shackles on my feet won't let me stand, turn up the music that has a nice beat, Turn it up loud and take these shackles off my feet." Can you see me break dancing I am so happy I finally found these song after years of searching for the lost 12 inch records and CDs(smile and jam with me)?

Album Description

Set amid the chaos of pre-revolutionary China, small time thief, Sing, aspires to be one of the sophisticated and ruthless Axe Gang whose underworld activities overshadow the city. Stumbling across a crowded apartment complex aptly known as "Pig Sty Alley," Sing attempts to extort money from one of the ordinary locals, but the neighbors are not what they appear. Sing's comical attempts at intimidation inadvertently attract the Axe Gang into the fray, setting off a chain of events that brings the two disparate worlds face-to-face.

The exotic original score by Raymond Wong is complemented by the film's classical pieces, notably Sarasate's acclaimed "Zigeunerweisen" and Khachaturian's famous "Sabre Dance."

This is the soundtrack released to the U.S. Just so you know, the soundtrack sold in Asia features a few more songs. Most notably missing is a song preformed by Huang Sheng Yi, called "Zhi Yao Wei Ni Huo Yi Tian" which comes toward the end of the movie. It might be my favorite song in the movie, and it's too bad it's missing from the U.S. soundtrack.

If you have seen this unbelievable movie, then you know how incredible the music is. It matches the mood of the movie and everything the previous reviewer said I agree with. It has great sweeping scores with an extremely cool "oriental/chinese" sound and presence to it. I mostly bought it for a few cool songs I fell in love with when I saw the movie and the whole album is great. You will recognize a few of the songs used in a lot of other chop socky/martial arts movies and you'll really enjoy having them along with all the other great music on this soundtrack and it goes without saying, but if you haven't seen or bought this movie yet, get it. We need to encourage Stephen Chow and support him in his endeavors to make more great movies instead of the same old rehashed formulaic, cookie cutter, boring(need I go on?)"Hollywood Entertainment" fare.

...Absolutely perfect!

As a collector of various movie soundtracks, there are many times when I am utterly dismayed by how unrelated they are to the movies they are supposed to complement.

The Kung Fu Hustle CD, however, is far from any of that! I watched this movie four times in the theater, and every time, the music just mesmerized me from start to finish! The movie was great, and the music was even better!

I quickly ordered the soundtrack from Amazon.com, and when it arrived, I was far from disappointed. This CD is fantastic! It does not leave anything out. What you hear in the movie is what you hear in the CD from beginning to end. The tracks are even in order of which they appear in the movie!

If you enjoyed Kung Fu Hustle, then the soundtrack is definitely for you. Go forth! Purchase the soundtrack, and prepare to be pleasantly entertained by the delightful music!

"The Message," "Planet Rock" and "White Lines" all on the same CD. Are you kidding me? That alone makes this disc one for the time capsule. Throw in less-groundbreaking but catchy as all get-out tunes like "Dream Team is in the House," "Let it Whip," "Jam on It," "Joy and Pain," and the hard-to-find "Hey DJ" and you've got a truly superior collection of what the kids these days are calling 'Old School.' If this gets your blood pumping, check out the four-volume "Electric Funk" collection, also available here at Amazon. It goes even deeper in examining the early sounds of hip-hop. You know, back before it totally sucked.

For those of ya'll are dissin', need to stop hatin' on 50 'cuz my man is surely taking slow one at a time. y'know a lot of people called him a hypocrite 'cuz he ain't rappin 'bout God and stuff or maybe 'cuz people don't like him when he sings or raps about. My dad once told me I should buy the clean version this time instead of the explicit version which I have at home y'know the whole album but now I lost it and ready to get 'nother one. Keep up the good work, 50! I'ma still be supporting u longest to the fullest. Don't even care 'bout people say 'bout u but u keeping doin' what u have to do. "In Da Club" would go on deepest in the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame along with Kanye's hit "Jesus Walks" and Twista's "Slow Jamz".

Mute is the debut single from LA-based dance/house artists Lisa Eriksson and Ryan Harlin, collectively known as Techno Squirrels. Drawing from a diverse pool of influences, Techno Squirrels' first outing adeptly showcases an infectious fusion of artistry and craftsmanship. Released on Rave Police Records, Los Angeles in October 2005 this CD includes two original tacks by Techno Squirrels, and it features two remixes, one by Swedish Virgin V2 artist Johan "Afterglow" from "Safari on Pluto", and Swedish acid house act "The Puff" feat. Crisp.

    I was shopping one day and wanted to buy some new music. I'm totally into techno/trance/euro music. I didn't know where to look, but this CD, Bobby D In Da Club, popped out to me. So, I thought, maybe I'll just buy it. If I don't like it, I can always resell it. Well, let me tell you, it will BLOW THE ROOF OFF YOUR HOUSE! It has songs I never heard. The mixture is so SWEET. And I like that there are 28 tracks on the cd. I usually listen to Louie DeVito, but Bobby D is Da BOMB! So, what you waitin' for? Go, buy this groovy CD! You won't be disappointed. Trust me!
