5 out of 5 stars B-E-A-UTIFUL.......2006-05-19

This record is probably my favorite record ever.
With Kno on production you can't go wrong, plus the lyrical beasts that is Deacon The Villain and Mr. SOS holding it on the mic, this release is not easily overlooked.
But if you still haven't caught up with the hype yet, just BUY IT!
I guarantee satisfaction (no homo)
You will not be dissappointed with this album.

Some dope tracks:
-Seasons
-Nasty, Filthy
-Appreciation Remix
-Love Ain't
-Rain
-Doin' Alright
+++

Too many dope tracks to mention, there really isn't a single bad cut on Southerunderground, and i urge you all to get this album. Its beautiful.

5 out of 5 stars get it now.......2006-03-26

CunninLynguists are the gems of the south. no this is not a lil john type of album from the south, this is a cd that takes on all different subjects like love, extreme stress, politics, and also just straight bangers that will leave your neck hurt. it has a track for every emotion you can feel, and things you can certainly relate to. get this before it is gone.

5 out of 5 stars "That nasty, filthy underground".......2006-03-17

Southernunderground.. where to start.. the beautiful, crazy, unique production Kno never fails to drop (3 songs done by Domingo, RJD2 & Freshchest Prose).. the insane Southern Hip Hop feel.. the over-looked 9/11 song (Appreciation (Remix)) capable of bringing tears to your eyes.. or maybe the crazy impulsive anger track (Falling Down) which shows some similarities to the movie "Falling Down" from the '90s and will have you with a dropped jaw before it's half way through? This album is put together perfectly. The crazy, fun songs like Southernunderground, Nasty Filthy (f/Supastition & Cashmere the PRO), etc. Some reflective & serious songs like Love Ain't (f/Tonedeff), Doin' Alright, etc. And the interludes (and instrumental track "War") are beautiful.. War is one of my personal favorite instrumentals. Then "Seasons (f/Masta Ace".. a song about the seasons of Hip Hop.. how it's changed over time.. it's simply dope. You will NOT be disappointed with this CD if you check it out with an open mind.

5 out of 5 stars Southernunderground.......2006-01-21

Kno, Deacon and SOS team up for an amazing album. They definately lived up to, and even surpassed my expectations based off of WRFF.
Kno's brilliant production is just as impressive as CL's clever verses. Any hip hop fan can recognize how great this album is, it seems to get better after every listen.

5 out of 5 stars Really good hip hop.......2004-05-02

Produced by RJD2, really good beats, amazing samples, good flow...a real good surprise ! Good good hip hop....

5 out of 5 stars Amazing Hip-Hop CD.......2003-11-18

This is the best hip-hop cd that I have ever heard. The beats and lyrics are dope, and Cunninlynguists show their talents on every track on the cd. Any fan of hip-hop should own this album, you won't be dissapointed. My favorite tracks are "Rain," "Seasons," "Nasty Filthy," and "Doin Alright," but every track is dope.

5 out of 5 stars dope..........2003-11-12

this is top notch underground.
supurb beats and lyrics. everyone who listens to hiphop get this album...but first get "Will Rap For Food", their first album. its even hotter than southernundergound. its one of my favorite albums of all time. dont even think about it...go out and buy it now; tho it may be hard to find...

if you want a taste, download "Lynguistics" or "616 rewind"

1 out of 5 stars Southern Garbage.......2003-08-01

I think the beats are decent, the lyrics are ight, but overall it has a corny sense to it. The songs lack serious professionalism. The group might sound good together on their 5th album(if they last that long), if they learn how to grow up.

5 out of 5 stars Check Out Their First Album Too.......2003-07-05

This album is dope, no doubt. But their first album is even better. It's called "Will Rap for Food" and I would definitely encourage anyone who enjoys real hip-hop to buy it, blaze and sit back and be amazed. With tracks like Lynguistic, Missing Children, and Midnight, it is a must-have. You'll have to look elsewhere to get it, though, Amazon ain't got it.

Mr. Oat says, stay sucka free, ya heard?
