I'm East coast and grew up with Hip Hop and watched it unfold into the commercial "Hip-Pop" nonsense it is today. Speaking as a Christian, and Hip Hop fan, I loved this album. The beats are tight, reminds me of the glory days of mid 90's hip hop. The lyrics.. what can you say. Precise is NICE with his flow and Corey just blazes with passion and energy. Best analogy would be Capone & Noreaga, Capone being nice & smooth, NORE being the amped up energetic one. But the lyrics are far better and the message is amazing. These guys reach out to cats who love Hip Hop, who are still in the grime, who want to be saved, who want to hear it's ok to be like JC. It's all good. This is one of the few CD's some of my old friends will allow me to bump in their cars since they're still avid modern Hip Hop fans and caught up in the "ways of the world".
I can relate coming from a rough childhood and upbringing. It was only when I was truly lost that I was found one day in a spiritual retreat through the grace of God, and it's been nothing short of a hard fight, and these guys understand that. To quote a favorite MC- "whoever said Christian life s all fun, they lied."
Thanks Corey, Thanks Precise for using your God given gift to reach out to us who need to hear a positive message and for providing reassurance that it's all good to be hood and with Jesus.

I listen to gospel rap and secular. I have over 100 gospel rap CD's. These guys are in the top 5 of any rappers I have heard. Try Japhia Life, Walking Dead, Acts 29, Rob Hodge and Peace 586 for other good east coast rappers in the gospel realm.

This CD makes no attempt to hide the powers that be, ie. the Illuminati, etc. This CD offers hope though, although the world is controlled by the currupt, we have God on our side, and we will prevail.
