5 out of 5 stars REFRESHING.......2005-07-06

I honestly bought this cd and didn't no what it was, I was just curious. I put it in my cd player and I didn't even no what kind of music it was going to be, and it turned out to be one of the best rap albums I've ever heard, and I know that sounds ridiculous but it's true, If your reading this and haven't heard Weerd Science I can't even begin to describe what your missing out on. A big surprise though is the lead singer is the drummer from Coheed and Cambria and he is white, but Eminem better look out cause this guy flows straight gangsta rhymes.

3 out of 5 stars Better than Gym Class Heroes.......2005-05-05

Review by Ray Harkins:

Since this release will have mostly broadsided people as only rumblings were getting out about Josh from Coheed and Cambria doing a rap side project, but that is basically all it was, a rumor. Then a few songs leaked as Coheed began on their massive swing towards the stratosphere of popularity and people began to talk. More people were really wondering if this was real or just simply a big hoax.

Then the songs really started to circulate and a burned copy of some songs landed in my ears and I was astonished. It really sounded like a very polished, major label hip-hop record complete with huge beats and obscenities. For the novelty value alone this complete full length really can bring a chuckle knowing where this is all coming from. The sheer amount of ingenuity and talent to come up with something like this is just staggering.

Hip-hop may tickle people in different places as most of the punk community is divided on that particular style of music, but regardless of where you stand, this is worth a listen or two for the sheer comic value alone.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing Hip-Hop, Extreme Talent from Josh Eppard.......2005-04-17

This CD is amazing, Josh Eppard, the drummer from Coheed and Cambria does everything on this record, he plays all insturments, writes all rhymes, he has an increadilbe amount of talent, this is a must for anyone who wants to hear a solid hip-hop record. One of the best of the year.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing.......2005-04-04

I first heard this a few months ago, way before the release. I heard the pre-release. There was an extra track on it that was really nice, and I'm not exactly sure why they left it off. Probably because it included the lyric "I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired" from a Nappy Roots song. Anyway:

This is the best rap/hip-hop album I've ever heard. Josh has extreme talent, both as a drummer and as a rapper. The beats and rhymes are top-notch, and I recommend this to ANYONE who remotely likes any genre associated with this album.

I can't wait for these guys to tour in May. This stuff has been in my CD player constantly since I got it. And I don't even normally like hip-hop.

5 out of 5 stars This is the sh*t!!! 5/5.......2005-03-24

When I read that this band was a side-project from the Coheed & cambria's drummer Joshua Eppard, I thought nothing about it. [...] I couldn't wait to listen to the rest of their CD. Now that I listened to the entire album several times, I can assure you that this is one of the best hip-hop album I have heard in a long (long) time.
If you listen to their lyrics, you cannot deny that these guys have a great sense of humor. [...] it's really worth it.
