99 Ways to Die [Explicit Lyrics]
Editorial Reviews

Only on his second album, Master P has already learned the key to ensuring career longevity. On the title track, minimalist bass lines and spare lyrics are brought together with a plaintive lyrical hook: "Ninety-nine ways to die / Survival of the fittest / Only one way to stay alive." It's the key to post-Tupac and -Biggie gangsta success: live the dangerous lifestyle, then spend time and thought writing lyrics about the troubles encountered along the way. It's the same approach used to near perfection on "Bullets Gots No Name" (think "Trigger Gots No Heart," and you'll get the idea) and "When They Gone." True to form, though, the album's most potent force is the relentless party bounce of "1-900-MASTER-P." Dial up for delivery of Southern-fried hits. --Jon Caramanica

Customer Reviews:
Super classic.......2007-06-02
This is my favorite No Limit release other than Tru - True. It is solid all the way through and is way underrated.
a straight up classic!.......2005-11-06
most people say this is 1 of the top 3 favorite albums from p and i definetly have to agree. I have 1 for sale for decent price, also tons of other rare ,out of print cds.email if interested.
99 Ways to Die is a Bay Area Classic and Must Have. Six outta Five Stars.......2005-09-20
The original pressing of this album cover had a shirtless Master P holding a pistol in each hand. This version is extremely difficult to find and sold out quickly. Shortly after the first pressing sold out, the version with red edges and a hearst on the cover was released. This version seems to be much more plentiful than the original pressing. If you ever come across a copy of the first version, gobble it up because it will soon be a collector's item. The album itself is CLASSIC NO LIMIT. The beats are incredible and the skits are pretty damn funny. This is a must have for any No Limit/Master P fan. Try getting the original pressing (up to 100 bucks), but settling for the rerelease version might be worth it because you won't have to wait to find the cd.
Good album, classic album........2004-01-16
This album, like you know, is a masterpiece and all the No Limit collector.
This album is really good but the die is too omnipresent and it's the only -little- matter.
This cd is dedicated to the R.I.P Eric "Eazy E" Write and Kevin Miller the regretted brother of Percy "Master P" Miller also known as Nino Brown.
Don't forget it's a masterpiece and contains the hit "When they gone".
R.I.P Soulja Slim, Tupac, Eazy-E and Big Ed...
If ten stars were possible, this would definitely recieve it.......2003-05-26
When I first bought this cd I admit, I didn't like it because it didn't sound like the No Limit I was used to. But now that I have finally soaked it in I can't get enough of this cd! Even though it was sample-heavy the production was excellent. Master P didn't sound like a Pac clone either. Too bad many artist don't sound like this anymore......P included.
