And to top it all off, your name is Reggie Noble aka Funk Doctor Spock aka Redman? What do you do? You give the biz the third finger and promote yourself with mixtapes, 50-Cent style. That's just what Redman has done with the release of Ill At Will Mixtape Vol. 1.

I like Redman he is the most slept on MC in the rap game and he still manages to stay above water. This mixtape is good as any and is worth having in your collection. My favorite song is "I C Dead People" I like how they all contribute a verse even though there old verses anyways can't wait for his new album Red Gone Wild. I recommend to all rap fans to buy this album it is worth every penny.

4 out of 5 stars Good until...........2006-03-19

Love Redman and this has him being his normal funky self. Can't wait for the new studio album but this will tied you over until then.

5 out of 5 stars Greatest Mix tape of the year.......2005-08-19

When I first poped it in I was like why would the DOC do such a thing. Most fans want a whole album. Then you listen to all the hits and find out that this mix tape in not like most. The production on this more like something you would expect for him on DefJam. I see Dead People is a true classic and Vol 2 should be just a great a CD.

5 out of 5 stars Funk Doc Strikes Again!.......2005-06-12

Generally speaking, I'm against mix tapes. However, Redman did me right on this one. All stuff I haven't heard before, and Redman is on every track. Also a very good idea to let his boy Icarus shine on a couple of joints, cause that cat is NICE. A couple of my boys said the knock against the great Reggie Noble was that he couldn't freestyle. He quickly dispels that myth on this album. If you like Redman and you don't have this, please fix that. You will thank me later.

5 out of 5 stars Don't let the mix tape title fool ya.......2005-05-20

this is basically a dope redman Cd..He should have made a different title and sold it as a regular CD...These a basically all new redman songs with new lyrics when this CD came out..this is a dope CD with amazing lyrics and songs on it...I would recommend it to anyone who loves hip hop or is a redman fan...I love Reggie Noble and can't wait for his next release and want to find mix tape volume 2 if anybody has it...this CD is off da hook....I just got it yest. off of Amazon and can't stop listening to it...
