His plight is comprehensively chronicled on this CD; commencing with his very first recording (HTD Blues), which was released on a ten inch 78rpm record. All of his hits and misses are included on this compilation. Although all of the tracks on this album were restored at Ace Records UK studio to a pristine sound and quality, the first track suffers a little because it was taken from the original direct to disc source, which had been mangled and tossed away as garbage. Luckily Jerry retrieved it and all of the technology available was employed to bring it back to life.When you purchase this CD, youve purchased twenty-eight amazing tracks by an amazing singer, songwriter, arranger and producer. From the first track to the last youll actually experience his musical growth and understand why he became Swamp Dogg the living legend.
