Editorial Reviews
About the Artist
Formed in January of 1997, Rebel Amish Radio have emerged as one of the Mid-Atlantic region's most talked about acts. Their original blend of crunchy, powerful funk-driven rock, topped with dueling r&b-esque male and female vocal melodies, has earned the band critical acclaim in Maryland's Music Monthly Magazine, Unsung Hero, Baltimore's City Paper, Virginia's Pitch Magazine, Baltimore's University Reporter, and Pennsylvania's Rockpile. These publications, in addition to MTV Online, not only give the band rave reviews on their self-produced debut CD, "Weekend at Jerry's", but also on their energetic live performance.

In addition to club appearances, Rebel Amish Radio have performed live at a number of local fairs and festivals sponsored by 98 Rock - WIYY FM in Baltimore, WHFS - 99.1 in Washington DC, and WZBH - 93.5 FM, The Beach, in Ocean City, Maryland. For two years running the band has been featured in 98 Rock's Opening Week Festivities at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Rebel Amish Radio has shared the stage with many national recording artists including King's X, Second Coming, Sebastian Bach, Buckcherry, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, and The Ernies, to name a few.

Their CD "Embracing the Struggle" showcases the band's development and versatility in songwriting.
