Killer CD! A must for your collection................2007-06-13

Read the other reviews. This disc is perfect for doing the things that grown ups do! This is not for the kids but if you want a great adult oriented cd with great music and hooks featuring singers with range beyond their years then get this disc asap. You won't be let down. WARNING: you won't like this cd if you like wack so called artists like bow wow, t pain, slim thug, britney spears, ashlee simpson, fat joe or akon.

A classic album!!!.......2007-02-10

A lot of people should have purchased this cd!!!! Do you know why? All of these songs are original, with lyrics that most people wouldn't dare to sing. I have this album, and every track is a bonafide classic. I can honestly say that I know one of the producers from the album, and he produced the infamous song,'Straight F------', that was featured on the Baby Boy soundtrack. If you are a fan of r&b, do yourself a favor and purchase this album.

A rare find.......2004-03-05

Well, I stumbled up on this one back in the day when it first came out and it's gotta be a classic because I never, ever get tired of it. What a CD. There is not one single cut I do NOT like ... NOT ONE. The brothers can really sing, the lyrics are tight, the beats are hot. What's not to like!? So much talent here: we SHOULD be hearing a lot from these brothers ... if the industry ain't sleepin'! But judging from radio play I've heard, somebody needs to wake the giant up! Don't you sleep!

just how i like it.......2002-08-12

The Transitions are hot and "Back In Da Days" is just how I like it, nice beats. Yes, they remind me of H-Town too,but they got their own style. I heard "Straight F***ing" banging in a chat room makin' everyone go krazy. Think of Boyz II Men on a thugged out vibe and you'll have an idea of The Transitions. I'm glad I bought this cd.

aye, u got to cop this album. It got that ol' skool vibe to it and is (like the song) off the meter. Dont miss this right hia! Nice melodies and classic sounding vocals, cop this rite hia!

These are old recordings, so quality isn't perfect, but these are beautiful songs, beautifully sung. Considering you get two discs, it's a bargain.

not enough bang for the buck.......2006-04-28

It seems a crime that, in order to get John McCormack singing "I'm Falling in Love with Some One," you have to shell out big bucks for this CD. I can't abide opera, and there are too many arias here sung in foreign languages to justify a capital investment. McCormack also does a striking rendition of "Because," which is missing from this CD. maybe we'll get lucky and Archeophone will put together a few disks, all in English, and I'd pay their price, steep though it usually is.
