I have been following jodeci frome day one. And I try to purchase all there material. Thank goodness for the internet, or I would have never found this gem. I just hope the guys can come out with another album. It is long over due. Keeping it real for Jodeci. Elove
Dalvin's Debut.......2006-01-17
Met.A.Mor.Phic is a great CD that a lot of R&B fans slept on. Although Dalvin rarely sang lead on any of the Jodeci LPs he did contribute to the group in a immensely through his production and rapping abilities. Met.A.Mor.Phic showcases a more mature sound from Dalvin. This CD doesnt follow the Jodeci format, nor does it resemble other R&B CDs. It's more of a fusion of r&b, hip-hop, soul and rock...my favourite tracks on this album would have to be "not my girl", "dangerous" (featuring jodeci head DeVante), and the incredible remake of def leppard's hit "love bites"...all in all this is a great album, although the songwriting could be better, the beats are phat and the album is Dalvin...it's rare to find an R&B album out these days without an unnecessary string of featured artists...Met.A.Mor.Phic is a refreshing change

But this CD is good music. I put it in the player when I get home from work, it helps me mellow out and get busy with what I have to do.
I have heard better cds, and I've heard LOTS worse. This is a good CD. Okay, so it's not jodeci, it's still good and it is a pleasure to listen to.

Just listening to the sampler on amazon.com is reason enough NOT to purchase this cd. This is a hot mess!
Garbage.......2004-07-11
Being a big Jodeci fan, I expected a lot from this one. So how is it? Lemme just say that if I made a list of the ten worst albums I have ever bought, Metamorphic would be on that list. He is a horrible singer and the songwriting is horrendous. I would say two tracks are just average. And everything else is simply garbage.
