one of the greastest hip-hop albums ever..........2004-11-19
...to bad that most ppl want get to hear this.
i first discovered Company Flow the group of three of which this guy was member while watching BET duriing ther usual churn-fest of regurgitated crap then i saw this video called END TO END BURNERS and my jaw dropped...until this day i can here DJ MR LYN cutting DMC saying "dance to the rythim or rhyme of co flow" whenever i think of real hip-hop so it's an irony of how i came accross this gem by the lesser known member or so-called weaker emcee of this most reknown undergrowd crew.
i was in the store to buy EL-P's first album and i was at one of the listening kiosks that they had in this independent record stores in little five points here in ATL...
i remembered that ppl always refered to him as the weaker of the emcees in CO FLOW which i thought was ree-dik-yoo-lus when i first heard them way back... so i listened to the sound samples and i was blown away!!!!!!
as an underground emcee slash spoken wurd artist slash turntableist and would be graffitti writer i was thinking why the f**k didn't i make this album!!! if you love real hiphop you wil love this and if you don't then somthing must be wrong with you! seriously =-/ and when i say real hiphop i mean "real" as in lyrical content counts just as much as delevery as the beats and this dude made every beat to my knowledge and wrote every rhyme that he says. kind of like DIZZEE RASCAL who is just as ill as an emcee (yeah i said it and so did DIZZEE) EMCEE. i dont care whut genre ppl might like to think that this other formerly "underground" artist is commonally placed in (garage).the reason that i mention this other equally talented guy is just like JUS he produces all(to my knowledge) his own tracks and rites all of his lyrics too...and the reason that he's big now is that the international audeince has a better understanding as to the true meaning of real hiphop so they're able to recognise it when they see and they saw it bigtime with this BRITISH BROTHER!!
HOPEFULLY THEY WILL SEE THE SAME WITH THIS BROTHER FROM nyc.
and if that isn't enough he has a totally differen't version of the album encoded in MP3 format if you have a computer.so it's like you're getting 2 albums for the price of one.
ther a few guests scattered sopradically throughout the disk and they enhance rather than reduce the overall experence...
NO DESERT UNTIL YOU FINISH YOUR VEGITABLES MOTHER FU*****KER...get this album and you'll know whut i and the guy that says this during one of the "hooks"(yeah i'm the earthworm with the headphones attached and the hook securely in place!!!)when i and he says this.
whut hiphop is and whut hiphop wua always ment to be!!!! if your afraid of dense lyrics and are not used to listening to them (but claim to love cats like TWISTA who can be just as dense) give JUS a try even if you've never heard of COMPANY FLOW. and if you have then you already know.

black mamba.......2005-07-11
ok. black mamba serums. incredible. bigg jus is off in his own worlds. everything is original about this album from the lyrics, flow, and beats. this album is the most slept on album in history. since it never officially got released until recently, there are so many hidden goods on here. I prefer this album to black mamba serums 2.0. This is on my top 5 albums ever recorded!
Genius.......2005-03-21
if you enjoy listening to garbage hip hop such as:
50 cent, Nelly, Lil'Jon, etc...
this album is not for you.
If you enjoy underground hip hop, then i recommend this. If you a fan of Company Flow, then you NEED to get this.
If you are looking for something different, pick this up, and just listen to the words, and nice productions.
peace!
Worth every penny.......2003-06-29
Beats: Perfect. Gritty and weird, often conflicting styles "It loves Me" is thick and complex, while "Pipline" is thin and actually somewhat scary! Some beats are hyponotizing like "Moss Pink Coats", and others are deliberately jarring and grating, like "tounge sandwich taste good"
Rhymes: Juss has improved expotentially since his album with Company Flow, i especially enjoy his social commentary in "Plantation rhymes"
Overall: the best hiphop album of 2002, which i beleive is when it was "officially" realeased. If the album had generated any hype id tell you to beleive it.
It's Jus of Co-Flow.......2003-04-30
Many Jus fans in the states have seen this CD in the import section of their favorite record store and may have figured it's just the import of his EP. Not true at all. There's more than what's on the EP, plus remixes and instrumentals not found on the domestic EP. Not only that, some of the songs have been re-recorded with new lyrics. For those not familiar, Bigg Jus is one third of the now defunct, Company Flow. Which in the end, turned out to be great for hip-hop now that all three member's have gone their own ways and have definitely fleshed out their styles. Jus is no exception with a style all his own and more production styles than numbers can count. The reality is that I'm a Co-Flow fan. There is no description for this CD other than it's not your radio friendly over-hyped, boring artist driving a chorus into your skull. If you are willing to take a chance on a different style of hip-hop that compares to none, buy Company Flow's FUNCRUSHER PLUS album. Start there and see if you want to continue down a road that no other hip-hop crew has been able to do through history. Create thought provoking, intelligent music that will continue to stand the tests of time. Bottom line, buy the album
