About the Artist
NIZE ENTERTAINMENT introduces “MR. NIZE” and his debut single “10X For My Ghetto”.

Born 1976, a native of Dallas, TX “MR. NIZE” born Marlon Childress, displays in a raw fashion: soul & seriousness accompanied by almost dramatic sound. Talents are unlimited as not only does he perform vocals but establishes his presence as a music composer and producer. Matching mind gripping sound with complimentary voices. If there is such a thing, he has introduced the public ear to a new sound.

Raised in the Southern region of Dallas, TX he sets the mood by “representing his hood ", and ghettos across America alike. The self-chosen CD cover alone sends a silent message to be exploited by his musical compositions. He first found that his writing skills could be of use as a senior in high school. Like the majority of graduating students he had goals of attending college however a single mother struggling with a four-son household could not finance quality education costs. He chose to enter two-city wide essay contests where he was selected among a few others as a winning recipient both of writing contest.

A vast array of life experiences: growing up in the streets, a tad of college, 4 years in the United States Marines, management positions in corporate America, married & divorced at the age of 25, and more street life gives him a lot to compose upon. Working and hustling is nothing new to this business minded musical entrepreneur. His brother Benjamin “ Fa Show” help fine tune his street knowledge with the help of his hard knock life peers.

From his many talents, skills, and support from immediate family, and close friends- NIZE ENTERTAINMENT brings you the world of "MR. NIZE" in musical form. As Mr. NIZE would say to others as he pictures himself “Don't you wish everything was this NIZE?”.

Inspired by the likes of LL Cool J, Dr Dre, 2 Pac, Eight Ball & MJG, UGK, Biggie Smalls, Scarface, Master P, KRS 1, Cash Money Records, Method Man, Kurt Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, and Aretha Franklin.

In his plans for the future he wants to make his mark as an Southern MC penetrating the brains of lyric fanatics, as well as exposing the his spirit of a Thug. Simultaneously "MR. NIZE" represents the city streets of the nation.

His goal to be respected amongst current rap world "sound scientists" keeping clubs and the streets moving to his hardcore and hip-hop street grooves.

The LP titled “Work, Rap, B$tches, Drugs, & Money” .... The Professional Thugs & Southern MC's Series - Volume 1 (Double CD) is scheduled to be released the summer of 2002, with an additional maxi-single in January of 2002 (I'M a Southern MC…the 2nd Project) before LP release.
