I've always been a big Alexander O'Neal fan. His vocal roots undoubtedly lie deep in the tradition of such legends as Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett and Teddy Pendergrass--and he makes no secret of it. This compilation,while not definitive, will give the uninitiated and/or anyone just looking for the major hits a good idea of how immense this man's talent is. One of the few truly great male R&B vocalists to have emerged during the 1980s.

This is a wonderful album every song on here is great whoever doesn't give this album five stars obviously there has to something wrong with you because every single track on this album is a good song and Alexander sings exceptionally well and I love all of his duets with Cherelle and he and Cherelle sing very well together and I especially love "Saturday Love" that is one of my all-time favorite slow jams !!!! My favorites are:
If you were here tonight, fake, Sunshine, Saturday Love, Innocent and many more this is a great album to have whomever buys this album should also buy all of Cherelle's albums also they sing and sound magnificent together!!!!

This is yet another CD the stores just don't seem to have. Tjis album is absolutely beautiful. "Sunshine" is my favorite. He has some really pretty songs on this CD. Buy the CD!!! I am not the type of girl that will waste money on a not so hot CD. This is well worth the money spent!I chase music from the 80's and spent a good bit on them each. This is psssssssssssssssssssssst HOT!!!!!!!

It's such a shame that a great American R&B singer had to leave the country to make it big. He's the Luther of London. He is currently on tour and still packin' the houses. Many of his earlier works are out of print but I suggest you buy this one before it goes away...like "All True Man" and "Hearsay" Especially those of you who are too young to remember "If you were here tonight"!
