Vallejo Boyz!.......2001-05-17
This CD is not quite as good as Vol.1. They should've had the long version of 'Too Tight' on the Vol.1 CD in the first place and they should've chosen the songs; 'Loveshine', 'Secrets', and 'If Your in Need of Love' instead of 'Electric Lady', 'Pretty Lady', and 'Lovin' Fever'. Those songs are weak! I find it hard to believe that 'Loveshine' didn't even make it on either Volume 1 or 2 CDs.
Vallejo Boyz!.......2001-05-17
This CD is not quite as good as ConFunkShun's Vol.1 CD. They should of had the long version of 'Too Tight' on Vol.1 in the first place and they should of chosen songs such as 'Loveshine', 'Secrets', 'If Your in Need of Love' on this CD instead of 'Electric Lady', 'Pretty Lady' and 'Lovin' Fever', for example. I'm especially surprised that 'Loveshine' didn't make it on either of Volumes 1 or 2, that was one of my favorite songs.

Volume 2 picks up where Volume 1 left off. This collection is not to be slept on. Volume 2 has more of a happy, feel good vibe to it. As oppose to a straight hard funk sound. Made for crusin or groovin. And of course the ballads are made for gettin low. Once again, top notch player material. So get you some.

While I dug Volume One better this disc has some jams on it.Electric Lady is the jam.this band can Groove&do slow jams.Con Funk Shun always had their own thing.it's cool getting the Longer Version Of Too Tight.
