I enjoyed this CD. The only reason that it is not my favorite is because it does not contain many of my old favorites.

It does contain "Soul Heaven" and that is a hit!

I have been a fan of JT's since my Mother & Father began having me listen to his music over 30yrs ago...that makes me currently 45 years old and knowledgable about what I like in music, my taste vary but JT's style is/was the same style that made LEGENDS of stars like:Butler/Mayfield/Sledge/Burke/Covay/ Sam&Dave/Pickett/Chandler/Greene/Cooke and the list goes on and on. I've been able to listen to the sheer musical poetry of "SOUL HEAVEN", it is not only a great showcase for his voice and singing style but also a loyal & loving HOMAGE to those talents no longer here to be enjoyed in person, it is more than just a fitting tribute to JT as well, like he saved the best for LAST, listen to the song and you'll know he's in good company...in "SOUL HEAVEN." I have enjoyed listening to Johnnie Taylor's music over the years. This cd is excellent. My favorite song is Soul Heaven. I cannot stop listening to it.
