5 out of 5 stars A lovemaking album, from start to finish!!!!!.......2007-01-26

The Isley Brothers at its finest. I bought this cd in April 2001, and on May 5th, 2001, it set the mood. My ex and I made love, and this cd was playing. Before we made love, he looked at me, and said, What you know about the Isley Brothers? I answered a lot. I know one thing: Their slow jams definitely set the tone. Every track is sensational, especially Sensuality!!!( Every day, I dream of holding you close to me, every night I find, me touching your lips with mine)!!! Come on, it doesn't get any better than this. I can guarantee you that this cd, will put you in the mood. Maybe for baby making, or just making love with that special someone.

5 out of 5 stars creme de la creme from the soul balladeers.......2007-01-14

Possibly one of the best soul groups in history, The Isley Brohters have countless music from a half century span of time. My favorites of their work consist of their slow and slower mid-tempo love jams, which is why I am so into this love songs collective. Most of my favorite songs like "For The Love Of You," "Between The Sheets," "Footsteps In The Dark," "Make Me Say It Again, Girl'" and a personal fav, the spiritual and mystical "Voyage to Atlantis," one of the best songs of any genre ever conceived. Unfortunately, "Caravan Of Love" by Isley, Jasper, Isley is not here, perhaps for it not being a slower jam. Regardless, Love Songs is an awesome intro or reflective of the Isley family genius.

BUY THIS CD, YOU WILL LOVE IT AS I DO!

For more than 40 years, the Isley Brothers have preached the sexy, salty gospel of R&B. With stinging rock & roll guitars (supplied by Ernie) and satiny, seductive vocals (courtesy of Ronald), this family from Teaneck, New Jersey, has been responsible for some of the most popular and groundbreaking hits in rhythm & blues. Their songs are not only classic jams, but, as this collection proves, hotter than most current radio fare. The funk is brought on the throbbing "That Lady" and the fiery "Fight the Power." The love is made on lilting ballads "For the Love of You" and the heavily sampled "Footsteps in the Dark"; the party starts on the finger-popping "It's Your Thing." All of it makes this album a must for lovers of soul. --Amy Linden

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY HUSBAND AS A BIRTHDAY GIFT AND HE LOVED IT.

5 out of 5 stars Isley Brothers.......2006-05-18

Overall, this album is amazing. There are seventy songs, all of them Isley classics. It is a perfect example of the beauty of Isley Brothers voices and I love listening to it. "Between the Sheets" and "Groove with You" are two of my favorites, and show the signature velvet voices of the group. The sounds of the brother's Rudolph, O'Kelly, Ronald, Marvin, Ernie & Chris Jasper are truly like no other. I know it may sound silly, but Ron Isley's voice is just one step below Elvis Presley. I know they aren't usually compared, but they both have velvety beautiful voices that you just cannot turn off. To me, these are the best slow songs off all time. If you are in love or have ever been in love, as we all have been, this CD is a must. It does not matter how old or young you are, the Isley Brothers are wonderful to hear!

5 out of 5 stars Great Compilation.......2006-04-22

I'm a fairly new Isley Brothers fan and this compilation is great.. it's fun to be able to hear these 70 songs because I've heard them sampled by both Tupac and Biggie.. Ronald Isley has an amazing, flexible and powerful voice... the musicianship is also fantastic!!!

4 out of 5 stars Missing Great Song.......2006-02-20

A good album with most of their classic hits. But I just don't understand how you can have an Isley Brother's Greatest Hits album without including one of their best songs, "This Old heart of Mine". A very serious omission if you ask me.

4 out of 5 stars The Isleys Coasting.......2007-07-02

INSIDE YOU (1981) and THE REAL DEAL (1982) are the featured albums on this third two-on-one Isley release from BGO Records. Both of these albums broke the group's nine gold and/or platinum album streak.

The previous album GRAND SLAM (also 1981) took longer than the previous eight albums to reach "gold" status. So on INSIDE YOU, the Isleys tried to reinvent themselves by incorporating lush string arrangements into their clavinet/guitar solo funk formula. For the most part, it works, especially on the title tune, the Doobie-ish "Baby Hold On", the lush Stylistics-like ballad "Don't Hold Back Your Love", and "Love Zone" in which Ernie's guitar soars above a comfy bed of strings. However, the pop leanings fall flat on "First Love", the soggy "Welcome To My Heart", and "Love Merry Go Round", a good idea that somehow fails to catch fire. INSIDE YOU stalled at #45 on the Billboard pop album chart, the Isleys first non-top 40 album since 1971's GIVIN' IT BACK.

After that pop/funk experiment failed, the Isleys brought the funk back to the forefront in 1982's THE REAL DEAL. The title track and "Are You With Me?" incorporate some Gap Band influences in the mix, while those darn strings rear their ugly head in the poppy "It's Alright With Me". "All In My Lover's Eyes" is well-sung but features lazy lyrics, while Ernie's guitar saves the funky "Stone Cold Lover" and the bluesy closer "Under The Influence". This album crawled to #87 on the Billboard Pop Charts.

After the failure of these albums, the Isleys came back with 1983's platinum BETWEEN THE SHEETS. These albums aren't the best representation of the Isley catalog, but they have their moments.

5 out of 5 stars First Love!.......2007-06-29

I can't believe this! Wow! I have been waiting on both of these albums to be released since 1993! I own both albums on vinyl and they're my 2 favorite Isley albums. Now these two albums never have been on cd domestically! So this is a first time. I've seen a copy of the Real Deal on eBay which looked like an import. But don't no if it was legit. Now I have been jamming these two albums since 1993. 1 song from each album has been released on cd. So this is going to be good. I can't wait because I already pre-ordered it. I own imported cd of Grand Slam, Go all the Way, Masterpiece, Showdown, Harvest for the World and Live it Up! A couple is now sold domestically but I am one of their biggest fans. Now these albums are two of their lowest selling albums but I think it was just the advertisement and the time it was released that didn't allow these albums to soar. But these are two underrated albums. I know all kinds of history on these guys. So place your order and get ready to jam! This is the Real Deal!

For five decades, nuance has been the name of Ronald Isley's game. There it is, flowing in a warm, sexed-up cascade through "That Lady," and there it is again, reeking of need, longing, and romance on "For the Love of You." So why he allowed this long-awaited follow-up to "Body Kiss," the 2003 disc that proved the Isleys have still got it, to be titled so cheesily is anybody's guess. But in the end it doesn't matter. At 65, Mr. Biggs' legendary voice is amazingly well preserved, and even when he's tackling a song that could get him kicked out of church--the baldly libidinous "Show Me" or the downright lecherous "Give It to You," say--he works it with such genuine emotion that even those for whom baby makin' is a long lost pursuit will want to croon woozily, wistfully along. It wouldn't be a 2006 disc, of course, if there weren't a long list of collaborators to name-check, but here the all-star assemblage actually adds up to something. R. Kelly doesn't make "Blast Off" blast off so much as sail, and between Jermaine Dupri and Tim and Bob (the team behind Bobby Valentino), velvet-vibed sparks fly off of every track. Should a 2007 baby boom hit the record books, you know who to blame. --Tammy La Gorce

4 out of 5 stars Isley Bros. Never Cease To Amaze Me With This Album.......2007-06-07

The Isley Brothers have earned the right to have a fan like me prepare to buy their album upon hearing about an eventual release, and this album is no exception. Since the rest of the folks have gone into detail, I'll simply say that as a music lover, it's worth the buy.

1 out of 5 stars sorry to be so mean but.......2007-01-21

when you think of the great music the Isley Brothers once made and then you listen to this junk, all you can say is "Oh my God,has it come to this".Laughable inane lyrics, boring guitar playing and not much else. And Ronald Isley has the nerve to thank God for making this kind of drivel.

Baby Makin Music. Are you kidding me? This cd should have been called Throwing Up Music.

4 out of 5 stars 99% R. Kelly-free.......2006-10-16

Since I'm 25, it's obvious that I wasn't around when Ronald and Ernie Isley were in their heyday, but I did listen to enough of their older material to get into their vibe. I also enjoyed their newer stuff except for Body Kiss; as other reviewers have mentioned, the problem with that album was too much Mr. Biggs (not too much Ron Isley; too much Mr. Biggs) and TOO MUCH R. KELLY. Well, now that Ron is once again becoming a family man because of the child that he and his granddaughter -- I mean, wife are expecting, maybe that opened his eyes into realizing that if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Thus, we have the excellent Baby Makin' Music. However, I didn't really know what to expect from the album because when I heard the lead single "Just Came Here to Chill" on Music Choice (a "radio" station on Time Warner Cable), it was incorrectly titled as "Baby Makin' Music". Also, this time around R. Kelly is only involved with one song, "Blast Off", and while that song is fine, there are even better tracks like "Gotta Be With You" and the aptly titled "Beautiful".

As another reviewer mentioned, most of the songs really aren't baby makin' music as the album title suggests, but when it IS done, it's done very well (see "Show Me" and "Give It to You"). But "You Helped Me Write This Song" is pretty damn good, as is "Heaven Hooked Us Up" (even though the title sounds a little corny). My favorite song is probably the aforementioned "Just Came Here to Chill", though.

While a couple uptempo songs might sound like Mr. Biggs is still itching to come out ("Pretty Woman" and "Forever Mackin'"), they don't disturb the flow of the album. And Ernie's guitar playing is back in great presence, too, all the more making Baby Makin' Music an album to add to your Isley Brothers collection.

Anthony Rupert

5 out of 5 stars Perfection.......2006-09-13

I've been a fan of the Isley Brothers since the early seventies, rediscovering them, after many years, with Body Kiss, then finding Mission to please - more perfection. This cd has the seamless sound of Mission to please, updating it to the present perfectly. It's such a treat to be able to listen to a 'sound' that wrapped itself around you so beautifully in the seventies, doing it even better (if that's possible) in the mid noughties. Thankyou Ron and Ernie.

5 out of 5 stars 80's Isleys in a blaze of glory.......2007-05-14

More funk from one of the greatest bands in history...during the 80's, Groove With You is considered an Isley Brothers classic. Take Me To the Next Phase, Coolin' Me Out and Tonight Is The Night are legendary Isley Brothers stuff. It's remastered for a stronger and noise free sound. How could you be unhappy with 2 Isley bros. albums for the price of one? Can't go wrong with this selection.

5 out of 5 stars I Love the Isleys!.......2007-05-09

This double CD set includes classic Isley slow jams. If you love 70s music, if you love Isley Brothers 70s music, this CD is a must have for your collection.

4 out of 5 stars A Great Isley Two-fer.......2007-03-01

This Two-on-One Isley cd from the UK label BGO collects two popular Isley albums that have never been released on cd in the US: The multi-platinum album SHOWDOWN (1978) and the gold album GRAND SLAM (1981). A slick booklet featuring liner notes retelling the Isley Brothers story and sparkling remastered sound enhance this package.

SHOWDOWN (1978) represented the Isleys at the top of their game when their formula of mixing funk with hard rock was still fresh and exciting. It included the #1 r&b hit "Take Me To The Next Phase" and the mellow "Groove With You". The wailing hard rock tunes "Rockin' With Fire" and "Love Fever" feature crunchy guitar chords and slashing guitar solos by the underated Ernie Isley, while on "Coolin' Me Out" and "Fun And Games", the Isleys go pop without losing their funky edge.

By the time 1981's GRAND SLAM was released, the Isleys clavinet-guitar solo-mellow funk formula was getting a little stale. Thus the entire album sounded like studio outtakes rather than a unified piece of work. It was the first Isley album that failed to produce at least one top-10 r&b hit since 1970's GET INTO SOMETHING. The highlights on this brief album are the beautiful "I Once Had Your Love (And I Can't Let Go)", the inspirational "Don't Let Up" and the top-50 pop hit "Hurry Up And Wait". Ernie's scorching guitar licks save the lame "Young Girls", while "Party Night" and "Who Said", the album's first single, are strictly filler material.

5 out of 5 stars Three of my Top 100 Songs are on this album..........2006-08-01

The first of which is For the Love of You, pts. 1 & 2 (#23, I believe). This song is more than just a bedroom slow jam, it's a ballad of emotional fragility and dependance with some amazing harmonies. I have always loved this song. Secondly, we have That Lady pts. 1-2 (#44) - and be thankful it's pts. 1 & 2, since not only do you get pt. 1 (which would probably make the list in its own right) but also the DNA-altering, Hendrixian guitar solo which is pt. 2. Finally is Harvest for the World (#90), a call for brotherhood in a truly insane world. It also sounds very unlike the Isleys, in fact closer to Neil Young. Proves the group had more variety than one would think...
Besides those, you also get It's Your Thing, Spill the Wine, Caravan of Love, Shout, The Pride and Fight the Power. But every song is good. What's not to like?

2 out of 5 stars The Ultimate Isley Brothers.......2006-02-22

Really bad recording. Mastering sucked. Barely able to listen to it. Pass this one up.

5 out of 5 stars The best band ever............All time greatest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2006-01-22

I recently purchased this CD. I was born in 1975 and fell in love with the smooth sounds of these cats at an early age and due to the tiresome sampling by rap stars may new generations continually be embraced by the beautiful soundmaking of these cats. THis CD even showcases the early Isleys which still show these cats could jam. But it was these music in the 70s and 8-s that solidafied these sounds for me. Ernie Isley is one of the most underrated guitarist ever. Check out his jamming riffs that soar on "Summer Breeze" and "Voyage to Atlantis" and "Who's that Lady". These riffs combined with Ron Isley's silky smooth voice is one of America's best treasured combination. In my opinion, Earth, Wind and Fire is great, but for me it is the instrumentation and visionary lyrics that elevate the Isleys. Songs such as For the love of you, grove with you, the pride, and harvest for the world are not just for lovers but were filled with visions. Even when the Isley remake a song "Summer Breeze" or diddle with Taylor's "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight"(not included here), "Hello It's Me" reinterprets the song to another level. This CD is an awesome compilation of song of the groups good hits. Even though it omits "Footsteps in the Dark", still it is certainly a good compilation nonetheless. However, these are my top 10 in order for the greastest hits of the Isleys:
1. Living for the Love of You (Simply breathtaking!)
2. All In My Lovers Eyes (Is this not a slow jam next to Sensuality)
3. Harvest for the World (So politically savvy)
4. Between the Sheets (Simply for its contribution to help other songs be that my better_
5. Footsteps in the Dark- (A great song of infidelity but told so musically chic..
6. Voyage to Atlantis - Do you not want to take the voyage, especially with ERnie Isley's sexy guitar playing?
7. Make Me Say it Again Girl - The sexual refrains and moaning by Ron Isley is infectious!
8. Who's That Lady -- Need I say more
9. Fight the Power--- Another wonderfully politically charged jam
10.Don't Say Goodnight -- Who could not make love after this song?

I cannot imagine a world existing without these musicians.

Honorable Mention: Choosey Lover, Let's Fall in love, Hello It's ME..and soooo many others... Thank you Isleys Brothers

5 out of 5 stars IT'S THEIR THING.......2005-12-23

THE ULTIMATE ISLEY BROTHERS: Few single discs can offer such a credible, or even worthy summation of the Isley Brothers' multi-faceted, incalculably influential career, which is still going strong more than four decades after their first hit, the gospel rock frathouse anthem SHOUT. Nearly every phase pops up: their raw, early RNB successes (TWIST AND SHOUT)...soul/pop smashes (IT'S YOUR THING, WORK TO DO)...smooth interpretations of others' work (LOVE THE ONE YOU'RE WITH, SUMMER BREEZE)...funk-infested chart-stranglers...(THAT LADY, showcasing second generation Isley Brother Ernie's Hendrixian guitar bravado)...and slick, silky ballad work (BETWEEN THE SHEETS). Only their brief stay at Motown is omitted, where THIS OLD HEART OF MINE hit paydirt. Ronald Isley has one of the most intimate voices of anyone in the biz and songwriting chops to spare (just ask Michael Bolton). THE ULTIMATE ISLEY BROTHERS deserves a treasured spot in any serious minded pop, funk, or RNB fanatics' CD rack. RATING: FIVE SHOUTS

4 out of 5 stars Start Your Basic R & B Education..........2005-04-27

I have to agree with many of the previous reviewers...there is no possible way of doing a REAL "Ultimate Collection" of these Founding Fathers of RockFusionR&Bfunkafication, without making it an extensive (and expensive) boxed set. And even then, Motown, who has a legacy of being notoriously stingy with its catalog, still wouldn't kick in the essential cuts that would truly make it a complete overview of the Brothers' stellar career.

Still, if you have never heard of them, or you've heard the name but don't think you're familiar with their music, your education should definitely start here. The core of their hit-making songwriting and performing skills are all in these songs.

For the rest of us rabid IB fans or completists, we still have a long wait ahead of us, folks. Besides "Footsteps In The Dark, Parts 1 & 2" and "Voyage To Atlantis," you will also discover that such footstompers as "Take Me To The Next Phase, Parts 1 & 2", "Go All The Way", "Livin' In The Life" and its inevitable and explosive conclusion, "Go For Your Guns" are all M.I.A.

However, for a good start, this will do.

4 out of 5 stars (3.5 stars) Hendrixian Isleys.......2007-07-09

While there's some of the group's typical disco-funk ("The Pride", a great hit single), this disc also shows off a latter-day Hendrix influence (as in "just-before-he-died" late-period), like on the wonderfully trippy "Voyage to Atlantis" and funk-rockers "Climbin' up the Ladder", "Tell Me When You Need It Again", and the near-instrumental title track. The thing to listen for here is Ernie Isley's often overlooked guitar playing, which very much came to the fore in the '70s: like on "That Lady", he sounds like a certain iconic guitar late, lamented god we all should know. Ronald Isley's soothing tenor vocals drive the classic "Footsteps in the Dark", a gentle ballad. I actually think that the ballads are better than the funk on this album. Though I have a lot of respect for "The Pride", the title track (with the best guitar solo on the album) and "Tell Me When You Need It Again", "Climbin' up the Ladder" is decent but way too long, and "Livin' in the Life" has a rote, secondhand feel. The two slow songs, though, are excellent. So Go For Your Guns is good, but not as good as my favorite Isleys album, The Heat Is On.

5 out of 5 stars ultimate concert experience.......2007-05-18

Having been a fan of theirs for over 40 years,I had the priveledge to see this concert at the Oakland Colesium in the fall of 1977. Their performance was awsome and the memory has stayed with me all these years. This album testifies to their raw talent and creativety.I highly recommend it to anyone who missed this once in a lifetime experience.

5 out of 5 stars FINALLY.......2007-02-10

The only "Rock Era" music that speaks to motivation, self determination, and focusing on being a good person - all while rocking hard.
"Ain't it up that I gotta go?"
Yes!

5 out of 5 stars Right On Target.......2006-11-05

As far as I'm concern The Isley Brothers peaked with this album. There is not a bad song on here. Opening with the funky "The Pride" followed by the haunting "Footsteps in the Dark", check out Ernie Isley's drum playing on this song, yeah, the man was more than just a guitar wizard. Next is the soulful "Tell Me When U Need It Again" with a nice synth beat, followed by the rockin "Climbing Up The Ladder" which includes some electrifying lead guitar playing by Ernie, who I would rate as one of the finest axmen of all time. The beautiful "Voyage To Atlantis" proves that nobody can sing a ballad like Ronald Isley and, once again, check out Ernie's wailing guitar, as it sets the tone for this gorgeous song. And finally the album closes with the slammin "Go For Your Guns" a mixture of funk and rock which The Isley Brothers took to an art form and sadly nobody is doing today.

5 out of 5 stars THEY WERE AND STILL ARE A BADDASS GROUP!!!.......2006-03-19

My step father use to blast this group twenty-four seven.
One thing I always liked about the Isley Brothers sound (which is missing in today's so-called music), they had a rock and funk appeal. For example the cut "Livin In The Life" the intro just drops this funky bass on you like DAMN!!! I have to reply that again!!! Then the precussion guitar kicks off with the beat just rockin and rollin away, I mean this was a baddass jam.

But I always liked this rare up tempo track (was never played on the radio) by the Isley Brothers, which was the b-side to the
12 inch version of "I Want To Be With You" called "Rockin with Fire." So question people, WHICH ALBUM (OOPS! CD NOW) CAN I FIND THIS OTHER BADDASS RARE TRACK BY THEM? HELP!!!!

    Amazon.com essential recording

The Isley Brothers were known for their ability to rock the house, but in truth they were an accomplished vocal group before they were anything else. Beautiful Ballads collects some of their sweetest, most soulful slow songs from the '70s and '80s, reaches over into the rock world for Todd Rundgren's "Hello It's Me," James Taylor's "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight," and Bob Dylan's "Lay Lady Lay," and adds originals such as "Don't Say Goodnight" and "Caravan of Love." Beautiful Ballads goes beyond being a mere soundtrack for seduction (though that works, too): this is healing music, good for the heart as well as the soul. --Daniel Durchholz

5 out of 5 stars SERIOUS baby makin' music..........2007-01-17

...And damn am I mad at the Amazon Fishbowl header on this page, 'cause I already had the title in mind! I just pulled this CD out of the racks after many years, for the purpose of uploading it onto my girlfriend's iPod. Man oh man, the memories! I'm not that old, but I remember when I bought this CD back in the early 90's. It was my first Isley Brothers CD. Let me just say that while I've since purchased many more I.B. CDs, there's just nothing like the first time. Don't get me wrong, there are other great compilations out there, 'Funky Family' comes to mind (although, as the title suggests, it covers the funkier dimensions of The Brothers' illustrious career); 'Ultimate Isley Brothers' is good if you're on a budget; you could probably even cop a decently priced copy of 'It's Your Thing: The Story of the Isley Brothers' at this point. But pound for pound, you just can't beat this CD. I think it has something to do with the sequencing - it seems as though whomever decided on the tracks to be included as well as the order in which they should be played spent a lot of time making out to the Isley Brothers! I mean sure, there are some glaring omissions ("Groove With You"? "Between the Sheets"? I could go on and on), but as the music progresses you couldn't care less. Starting its seductive journey with the beautiful testimonies to the early stages of love "Brown Eyed Girl" and "Hello It's Me", you're reeled in. Then you move into Stage 2 with "Let's Fall in Love (Parts 1 & 2 {isn't it amazing how R&B artists were so prolific back in the 70's that their genius needed TWO PARTS to encapsulate one song? Let's see Ne-Yo or Usher do that!}). By track 11 ("Voyage To Atlantis"), you've already gone from sweet courtship to a full declaration of love to a delicate plea for consumation of this union andletnoothermaneverputusasunder, thanks in no small part to this devilishly hypnotic music coming from your speakers in the background.

And this is why I feel the need to post a warning here: in the wrong hands, this music is potentially DANGEROUS. I hate the term "grown folks' music" but I do believe the title may apply here. If you're inexperienced with this sort of thing I'd advise listening alone a few times first before trying to unleash this on your mate (kiddies, stick with your Justin Timberlake records in the meantime). Don't slip this on as mere background music while you're trying to get your groove on if you're not really serious about the person you're with - there are far too many single unwed mothers out there already! But if you're with that special someone (or someone you're hoping might be that special someone), this is the music to 'seal the deal' with.

The only arguement I might make is with Track #7 - what the hell is "Caravan of Love" doing in this booty-call mixtape? It screws up the whole vibe right in the middle of the CD. If anything I'd recommend programming the tracks in advance and leaving that one out, or at least making it the last track. If you use the CD correctly, by then you should laying back smoking a cigarette or eating jellybeans or whatever you call afterplay. ;-)

    5 out of 5 stars GREAT MUSIC.......2007-01-11

5 out of 5 stars The Isley Brothers- Beautiful Ballads.......2006-06-29

I really enjoy listening to this cd. Like the Love Songs, most of the songs on the cd are great!

The only 2 songs I don't like on here is "You're beside me (Parts 1 & 2)," and "I once had your love (And I can't let go)". The great tracks on here are:

    -Brown Eyed Girl

    -Hello It's Me

    -Let's Fall In Love

-Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight

-Make Me Say It Again Girl (Parts 1 & 2)

    -Choosey Lover

    -Lay Lady Lay

    -Don't Say Goodnight (It's Time For Love) (Parts 1 & 2)

According to the sticker on the front cover, it says that this cd has 14 of the most romantic songs ever waxed! Therefore, you should get this cd!

    4 out of 5 stars No Regrets.......2005-07-05

These ballads can indeed be considered beautiful. The Isley Brothers definitely have talent as artists in general and musicians in particular. The lyrics of these songs as conveyed by the Isleys tug at the heart. That being said, it is still not to my taste.

This is definitely from the R&B/Soul part of the spectrum. My tastes run more towards artists like Sinatra and Humperdinck. I bought this album because of the title and it was no what I expected. Still, the quality of this album is such that I have no regrets.

    5 out of 5 stars Soulful.......2005-06-29
