This is what I call a soundtrack not like the Mi Mida Loca soundtrack where the movie was good and the soundtrack is ok. No this is a true collection you should have. The movie is chingon!!! the soundtrack is firme!!! All the songs on here not 1 I don't like. Some more then others but liked still. Best songs well number 1s got to be Serchin For My Lady By BobbyMoore And The Rythem Ace. definitly a true old gangsters oldie this is an altimate chingon!!! firme!!! love song just for that 1 song this should be bought, then well... its a toss up between Try Me by James Brown or Slippin Into Darkness bye War well there my next 2 choices anyways. Then Lowrider by War also. Who can not like this song??? Not to metion it was always a hit to bump in yo carro in those days and still is now. After that we go to Whos That Lady by The Isley Brothers. Then Getting to Me And Baby Brother by The Scream. Theres also Sauvecito by Joacim but I have to be honest the origonal version is much better then this one but still good though. Towards the end that i'd say Santanas Jin-Go-Bo-La followed by his brother who sounds almost like him Malo with cafe. Well... that pritty much takes care of my favorites but we also have All Green with Take Me To The River, Jimi Hendrex with Little Wing, now... theres a song that you would never think Jimi Hendrex would do, we have oldschool RickJames in Super Freak (shes a super freak super freak shes super freaky yow) And that I think is it but not quite... you still have to go out and buy this you know. It is that good oh!!! and one more thing, You know the song they play at the bigining of the movie??? well it's on here and what a bueno!!! song that is. It sounds so spanish like well... not quite but it's really good. It's the main Theme Bound By Honor by La Guitarrones. The end of the cd finishes with that song as well. Hope you love it like I do!!!

Cruzin' Rolas.......2003-03-16

This cd had some good rolas that reminded me of my cruzin' days way back in the day. If you like old school oldies or cruzin' rolas this cd is for you and only if you liked and understand the movie.

Bound By Honor.......2001-04-16

This is a great album combined with the best movie ever. I remember when I was 8 yrs old which was 8 yrs ago, the first time watched this movie i will go to school and throw up VL...and I will tell everybody Vatos Locos forever & also me & my lil homeboys will tag up the restrooms that will say "Vatos Locos"... Anyways this is a great album and I recommend it to everyone.

war,santana,rick james,jimi hendrix, and other great artists contribute to this soundtrack based on the movie about mexican americans growing up in the barrios of east la.this soundtrack carries oldies,rock n roll and love songs.the songs fit perfectly to this movie and the chicano experince in los angeles as far back as the 1940's. good songs overall and good movies as well.

Unbelievable.......2000-08-16

This soundtrack connects with the movie perfectly. It has some oldies plus it has some twist coming in with the latino music which is perfect because the movie is filmed and takes place in East Los Angeles. This movie is the most underated movie ever to come out. It touches base with reality. The scenes in jail are basically what San Quentin was like in the 1970's and 80's.The best thing about it is that Mikolo Velka was known has a wannabe mexican and he becomes the leader of La Onda. Paco becomes a cop, and the bad thing is that Cruzito becomes a full time heroine user. Buy this movie and soundtrack and you will not be dissapointed.The soundtrack blends perfect with the scenes in the movie.
