My favorite Teena Marie compilation CD........2007-05-26

This compilation of Teena Marie's 1977-81 Motown recordings is truly a collector's item as it contains two previously-unreleased tracks and the 12" single versions of "It Must Be Magic", "Behind The Groove" and "I'm A Sucker For Your Love". Teena Marie is one of contemporary music's most talented songstresses and this superb collection of her Motown tracks is a must-have for anyone who loves 1970s-'80s R&B.

I Need Your Lovin': The Best of Teena Marie.......2006-07-09

This is my favorite Motown release of Teena's early music. When I bought it, I didn't have the WILD & PEACEFUL cd (only the album & a tape I played to death!) so I purchased this disc for two of my favorite ballads: TURNIN' ME ON & DEJA VU (album version).

For the new Teena fans this is a great way to introduce yourselves to her music - contains a good balance of old school funk: BEHIND THE GROOVE, I NEED YOUR LOVIN, SQUARE BIZ, IT MUST BE MAGIC mixed with her powerful ballads: NOW THAT I HAVE YOU, IRONS IN THE FIRE & PORTUGUESE LOVE.

You can't go wrong in purchasing this disc whether you're a fan or a newbie to her music! Enjoy if you purchase it!

I am a true Teena Marie fan and I simply love anything she puts out. If you love old school, then this is a perfect CD to add to your collection. CD is filled with great ballots. My favorites are Deja Vu, Now that I have you, and Turnin' me on......Oh I love it. For true Teena Marie fans only!!!!!!!!!

This is an excellent CD! "Portugese Love" is one of my favorite Teena Marie songs. This CD is so good that if any of the songs start to skip, I'll have to buy another copy, 'cause this CD is just too good to do without!
