    This is an accoustic live album. I saw Los Lobos earlier this year(07)in Baltimore. This album reminds me of that concert in both style and content. Lots of hispanic accoustic instruments in a traditional Mexican style. So this is a bit different than their more rock based albums. Most songs are in Espanol. An excellent CD begining to end.

Pensé que iba a ser tan bonito como el de Alejandro llamado «Un canto de México», que también fue grabado en vivo, pero, desafortunadamente, no lo es. Sí, las voces son bonitas y la la selección de canciones me gusta. Sin embargo, no me gusta escuchar tanto aplauso, ni mucho menos el cantar del auditorio. Quizás este concierto fuera divertido, pero eso no quiere decir que se transforme en un buen disco.

    This exuberant collection of concert recordings is a robust fiesta, with a lot of love shared between these two Mexican icons and their audience, and it is also historical, capturing for perhaps the last time father and son, El Gran Garañon y El Potrillo, who have been on tour together for about two years.
    Their powerful voices are marvelous separate or together, as they share equal time singing their solo hits, and join up for 4 duets, from "Amor de los Dos", which was Alejandro's first recording when he was 19, and started him out on a singing career, to the spectacular "Perdon", with a soaring interpretation of this gorgeous melody by these perfectly blended voices. Other memorable highlights are "Cuando Yo Queria Ser Grande", sung movingly by Alejandro to his father, and a long, slightly modernized version of the exquisite "Como Quien Pierde una Estrella", which was a big hit for Alejandro in 1995. Vicente has many shining moments, like "Me Voy a Quitar de en Medio", and he really knows how to work the crowd, who respond to him with wild appreciation.

    I personally don't care for the overall sound quality, which suffers sometimes from the same complaint I had seeing them live at the Universal Amphitheater, where the over-amplification was deafening, and caused a lack of clarity; nevertheless, one must make allowances for live recordings, and for fans of Vicente and Alejandro, this set is a must, to join with the audience with a big cheer. The foldout insert has little more than a song list, and total time for disc # 1 is 46'27, and disc # 2, 63'46.

    I personally love RBD a lot! this cd is really cool, but what dissapointed me was that the popurris that are included in the cd released in Mexico are not included in the USA release, even though it says in the corner that it includes popurris...also not all of the songs are sung live, for exaple Futuro Ex-Novio and Fuego. What I really liked though was the Solo Quedate En Silencio music video and the song Liso, Sensual.

    RBD is awesome, not only can they sing but they can act to. They're voices make the songs so addicting not to mention the lyrics, they are so awesome i love both of the cd's. All of them can sing so i would really recommend this cd. You will not regret it if your a fan of the novela Rebelde. (Este cd es lo maximo se lo recomiendo a todos que vean la increible novela Rebelde. Ellos tienen voces que se pegan y las letras de las canciones ni hablar. La novela Rebelde y RBD son lo maximo, ellos si pueden cantar y actuar. Los recomiendo que compran este cd y el cd el primer cd RBD. ADIOS

    This is a terrific cd. Not sure if concert recordings are a good intro to an artist, but some of the stuff here is very special. The version here of Amo esta isla is worth the price.
