    I discovered Maria Dolores Pradera quite by accident. She's fantastic. I like making my own compilations, with my favourite songs, but when I tried to chose some from this disc, it was not very easy. In the end I chose 8 songs, but I love all of them. The music is romantic, the guitar is played beautifully, the rhythms, either soft and sensual or a bit more lively, pull at your heartstrings. And the voice...Oh, this voice...Like warm honey or melting chocolate, like a lover singing her love, a woman crying with passion.
    A great CD in all respects. Buy it!

    Picked this CD up cheap with a Borders coupon because I was curious to hear Alejandra's music. If you're a Lila Downs, Lhasa or Atercipelados fan, this is going to sound obvious, very commercial, and a bit corny to you BUT it is worth checking out given Alejandra's high place in the Spanish-language rock pantheon. Serious listeners need to hear this if only to gain perspective. World-music hipsters....you have been warned...

    Alejandra Guzman is known as the "Queen Of Rock En Espanol." Her deep, raspy vocals are perfect for the style of music she performs. I love this CD, and it doesn't bother me that the majority of the tracks are live. Unfortunately, it doesn't indicate this anywhere on the CD itself, so that's a little deceiving. There's a few songs where you don't even know they're live, until you hear the crowd applauding at the end. Also, if you're looking to "rock," then don't really expect to on this compilation, because most of the songs are ballads. All that aside, this is a cool CD, with some nice songs.

    Aqui estan los mejores exitos de la Diva del Rock Latino. Si duda es la mejor coleccion de exitos de Alejandra Guzman. Sinceramente no hay ni habra alguna cantante que se pueda parecer a Alejandra. Un exelente disco, todas las 19 canciones que tiene el CD son lo mejor de lo mejor.
