3 out of 5 stars Not their best.......2005-06-14

Jaguares/Caifanes have been the most visible face of the Mexican rock movement for a number of years now. This record, however, doesn't really do their sound justice. It was an interesting concept to pair the new studio recordings with a live album, but the recording doesn't have good enough fidelity to suffice. Also, it skips too many of the stronger songs for a group with no other live albums to its credit. With Jose Manuel Aguilera absent from the studio album (leading his own, better group, La Barranca) side two suffers in comparison to "El Equilibrio de . . ." Things start promising enough with two fantastic, ethereal songs "Hoy" and "Fin," but the song quality tails off drastically after that. New guitarist Cesar Lopez doesn't completely find his footing on the rest of the cuts. This ended up being a transitional project for Jaguares as their next album really took advantage of collective strengths of all the musicians.

2 out of 5 stars Bajo el azul de tu misterio.......2004-12-08

5 out of 5 stars AWESOME!!!.......2004-09-22

hey guys, this is a great album, if u don't know who the jaguares is u should still buy this, believe me, it is awesome. the second cd is so mellow and beautiful, and the first cd is so fun and energetic! they play "ayer me dijo un ave", which is their song when they were the caifanes, but i think this version sounds way better, WAY !!! the lyrics are unimaginably beautiful, and their sound is just so cool, i wish everyone could just hear them out, i think they are the best!!!

4 out of 5 stars the transformation album.......2003-05-16

the second jaguares album, with the new additions of guitarist cesar "el vampiro" lopez(mana),guitarist jarris, and on bass the reunion with an old friend sabo romo(caifanes),this is a double album the first album containing new studio work, and the second a live compilation of old caifanes and equilibrio songs played by the new cast of jaguares, the studio album lacks that classic rock sound that was so obvious in el equlibrio,it is more a progressive sound, new methods of recording where used giving the album that fresh new sound,on "tu reino" jaguares experiments with an almost industrial type sound with it's heavy guitars and machine gun drumming courtesy of alfonso andre, the live album has some of the classics from caifanes, with a new spin "ayer me dijo un ave" for example is origionally an acoustic song with latin percussion in the back round, but in this album it's played on electric, with the same hooks, and drums and bass, a good adaptation of a great song, too bad i can't say the same about the rest of the live album, some adaptations should have stayed in the archives.

4 out of 5 stars Great Cd cover!.......2002-12-07

THis is a double cd. On one cd you get their second studio recorded album since becoming Jaguares. That cd has some good songs. THe other cd is a live one. They sing songs from when Caifanes existed. I give it 4 stars because it is not the best. I mean if you hear Caifanes this does not match it.
