The best music ever!.......2004-07-18

I started listening Los Iracundos since I was 8 yrs old and now I'm 19 and I like their music more than ever. My parents grew up with this and they enjoy it as much as I do and I have many of their CDs. I'm a huge fan I listen to them all the time and me and my Mom have a chance to spend time together by listening to them I know all the lyrics to their songs and I just love their music I was born in 1985 but I when I listen to them I feel I was born in the 60's and its a great feeling. I would recommend this to anyone because every single song they have is a great success. Los Iracundos will always live on through their music.

I came to know Los Iracudos in 2001 at the age of 26 and quickly appreciated their music and now I listen to it whenever I want to relax. Later I learned that my parents used to listen to this group and it was a good feeling that we could enjoy the same music. This group is truly timeless. Hola a todos de Peru y Sud America!

Excelente reproducción de dos grandes LP de los años 70 que tuvieron gran éxito. Las músicas son las versiones originales, y es una buenan oportundiad para quienes conocieron a la formación original de Los Iracundos, así como para aquellos que han escuchado hablar de ellos pero no han tenido la oportunidad de oír su repertorio. Vale la pena!

LIVE RECORDINGS FROM THE BEST LATIN POP GROUP EVER........2007-07-08

LOS IRACUNDOS appeared in Paysandú, Uruguay, at the beginning of the 1960s and are by far the most successful Uruguaian group. Innovative, combining instrumental music on The Shadows' style, with rock and latin pop ballads, the group would develop its unique style mainly, but not only, to the talent of its lead singer and composer, the late Eduardo Franco, who died from a terminal illness in 1989. This third volume of live recordings closes down this series developed by bass player Hugo Burgues, from various live shows from 1970 to 1985.
The album has two of the best pop ballads of Eduardo Franco: TU CON EL (1985)and APRONTATE A VIVIR (1983), tragically envisioning the singer coming twilight days. It also has some up tempo material: FELICIDAD FELICIDAD, LA JUVENTUD, VA CAYENDO UNA LAGRIMA, CHIQUILINA and FIESTA POPULAR, a kind of Dizzy Miss Lizzie Spanish version. As on previous volumes, this CD also offers an instrumental number, this time a version of Tchaikovsky's EL LAGO DE LOS CISNES, featuring great lead guitar player Leoni.
A must for this Uruguaian group which at present (July 2007) is touring U.S.A. with an updated line-up.
