The debut effort from stylishly scruffy trio Camila has all the elements of a Latin-pop smash: slick production, sensitive-guy lyrics and choruses designed for arena sing-alongs. The carefully coiffed threesome veers from pseudo-falsetto stylings to earnest intensity among 12 tracks, including "Abrazame" and "Va Para Ti." It all goes down easy, but none of it makes much of an impact. Only "Sin Tu Amor" manages to generate some real sparkle. Cuando ordene el CD, sabia por la cancion que estan pasando en la radio "Todo Cambio" que por lo menos una cancion buena tenia, pero cuando lo escuche completo...me impresiono que es uno de los pocos CD's que no tiene cancion mala; todas las canciones son espectaculares, las letras y la variedad de ritmos, hacen que sea un MUST HAVE!! Sencillamente ESPECTACULAR!!

I usually don't do this - type up reviews, but this CD is worth taking the time to rave about and going out and purchasing! It is worth every single dollar!!! When I first heard "abrazame" i laughed because it sounded like girls singing softly...but anyways i liked the song, and when I downloaded it, I also downloaded "Coleccionista de canciones" Wow that song really shocked me since I first heard it! Beautiful lyrics! Then, I decided to download the whole album, WOW, is the only thing I can say...beautiful songs like Sin tu amor, Me basto, Todo cambio,Me da igual, and my personal favorite, perderte de nuevo, show a group that can really sing. Lovely lyrics in those songs. In "va para ti" you hear a very rock but cool Camila. The songs that I think are no that great are No quiero, u got my love and nanga ti feo, the rest are all future radio hitss!!! I was really surprise with this group, and I am now a big Fan.

This is the first recording I have ever heard of todo Panchos. However, it will not be the last one I will own. These gentleman are truly incredible. Their harmonies are beautiful and their voices smooth and passionate. This is a perfect recording for a romantic evening.

I love Los Panchos, they're a part of my childhood. Listening to their songs recently (ie when this CD arrived in the mail) I also realized how MUCH of their music is under my skin. However, this is not about Los Panchos, this is about this particular CD compilation.

I just wish that this CD had been packaged in a more sensitive or "celebratory" way. Maybe they could have ordered the songs cronologically or added more of the recordings made with Eydie Gorme. Maybe they could have had a side about "love lost" and another about "love found". They could have made more of an event of the CD and it's a shame because Los Panchos deserve better treatment and a lot more respect.

Sony should really take a page out the Rhino Records book. A few sleeve notes and photographs would have been cute. Something to make this more of "a guided tour". I don't NEED some complete stranger telling me I made a great choice by buying a record but it's nice reading bits of trivia about what you're listening to.

And what's this stuff about "LAS 24" great songs? Surely they wrote MORE than 24 good songs? ;)

I'm a fan of the Misfits. I'm also a fan of Molotov. When I heard through the grapevine that there was a new Molotov album with a cover of I Turned Into a Martian on it...I was on a mission! Marciano is a hilarious cover. Amatuer and Chavas equally chistoso. I do like the ZZ Top riffs added to El Tri's Perro Negro y Callejero. The only thing holding back the fifth star, in my opinion, is that this cd lacks some of the harshness of their earlier albums. "Donde Jugaran" still rocks my bilingual cracker world!

His best album........2003-04-10

I think that Carlos is one of the best latin singers and he's tree albums are very good (this is the second one). If you don't know about he's music, it's pop with some tropical ifluences. If you've heard from him and want to buy one of he's cd's I'd recommed this tittle.
The biggest hit of this album was the #3 "Escuchame" (listen to me) and has other hits like "Amiga sombra" (Shadow, my friend) and "Todo lo que soy" (all I am).
The career of Carlos in music has been very good. He's first album from 1998 won a Billboard award, topped the Latin Charts and had 2 #1 hits ("Rezo" and "Y recurdo"). In 1999 he released "Todo lo que soy" that was once again a hit reached #4 in the Latin Charts and had the hits that I've named.
He's latest album "Ponce" which was released in 2002 had only one official single "Mujer con pantalones" (Woman with pants).
Carlos has a good voice and he's rhythms are very good. I really recommed this singer.

Fans of pure latin pop won;t be disappointed with Carlos Ponce's music, vocals or song selections. This is Latin pop at its best - a sterling collection of tracks that inspire the listener to dance, reflect and just - LISTEN. "Escuchame" is a tremendous song, where the singer begs to be heard. And "Me Muero" is another plea for love. In between, there are soft magical melodies and unadulterated songs of pure joy. A terrific addition to any Spanish (or english) language collection. Just listen and you'll see why.

Forget everything you know about Latin Rock...forget about Santana influences, ska, reggae, or anything you think latin rock is...because Circo will blow your mind. Think of a music mix between Talking Heads and Simple Minds, and a singer which is (Queen's) Freddie Mercury, (The Cure's) Robert Smith and Celia Cruz all role into one, and you end up with an eclectic cocktail call Circo. Myriam Hernandez sings like an absolute angel. 'Todo El Amor' is a wonderful collection of music sung from Myriam's heat and soul. This is yet another example of why this artist is so special to me. The lyrics by the most talented composers and musical arrangements add that special compliment to the sensuous voice that only Myriam can produce. This CD has a very good mixture of songs for different moods. I can relate to just about every song she sings on this CD. I give it 5 stars because that's the highest we can go.

To start things off I want to say I'm not hispanic but I love there music. I always listen to the mega 97.9, a New York station, and when I first heard the song, Huele A Peligro it brought tears to my eyes. Tears flowed down my face with so much feeling in my heart. I couldn't believe how beautiful she sound. I don't speak or understand spanish but the way she touched me with her cry, like there were so much pain or love in her heart. What ever it was it brought chills to my body. Her music sends off a very romantic vibe. I only wish I could understand what she is saying. Her album is very beautiful. All her songs are great. I had never even heard of Myriam Hernandez when I bought this CD, but I'm definitely going to buy more of her albums. This is one of the best CDs I have! Every song is beautifully sung and full of emotion. She is a very talented artist.

This c.d. is possibly Myriam Hernandez's best ever. Yo No Puedo Olvidarme de Ti, Huele a Peligro and Deseo are phenominal. When Myriam sings there is nothing missing. You can feel the passion in these songs. Play it for your friends who don't even speak Spanish and they'll love it too. The songwriting is excellent. Every feeling is captured as Myriam's voice escalates along with the powerful words. This is a terrific c.d.
