At a time when traditional Salsa was losing ground to both merengue and cumbia, Willie Rosario recorded and released this unquestionably superb set which included the huge hits "No Me Vuelvo A Postular", "Negrita Linda", "Mala Mujer" and "Ignorante". Rosario's band (as usual) swings very hard and vocalists Bobby Concepcion, Tony Vega and Gilberto Santa Rosa give some of their most impressive performances here. With this album, Rosario proved that good, swinging "Salsa Dura" will never go out of style regardless of whatever the current trends and fads may be.
