      A true, desert island disc. My family had gone thru a very worn copy on diskette before we were fortunate to find this CD. I would easily pay 3 times the price if I didn't already have it on CD. The songs, most are extended versions, are simply infectious - highly melodic with many great instrumental jams. Highlights are obviously the violin(s) backdrop, flute, killer pianist, and wonderful songs/vocals. I don't know much about the musicians on this disc, but a later album simply didn't sound the same and had a different lineup. So I would classify this as a one-of-a-kind, MUST HAVE album. Fantastico! Guaranteed to get any party up and dancing. Bravo to Amazon for having Charanga Quatro in (low)stock. E-mail me if you know more about the group and its members, and importantly, what ever happened to them.
