I picked up this compilation in Madrid, while shopping for some Spanish Hip-Hop back in '02. And I must say, the best exponents in the genre are all here! From Ariana Puello, Fill Black, Tote-King & Shotta to Mucho Muchacho, these are the best of the best Spain has to offer. Also, there are guest appearances from U.S. artists like; "Hurricane G", "Tony Touch" and "Ray Roll". This is a 3 CD set, 1 mixed (and it's a classic mixed CD) and the other 2 are unmixed. If your into Spanish Hip-Hop or just dope Hip-Hop, then this CD is definitely for you. A true Spanish Hip-Hop classic!

I bought this 2 CD set, at a train station in Barcelona. I was looking for some hip-hop grown in other countries. Solo en Espanol turned out to be a FANTASTIC buy! Although a few of the tracks are WEAK, most of the beats are ill, and although I can't understand a word of the lyrics, they are ON rythmically (some tracks, at least). My favorite tracks are from Mucho Muchacho, Tony Toca, and Solo Los Solo. Solo's track Supra B-boy is has one of the most innovative hip hop instrumental's I've heard in a while. Overall, a great buy.
