Another Masterpiece.......2004-05-28

In this album you can see Jerry's talent with trios, and doing ballads, I can't say that all the tracks were a hit in the radio back when I was in Puerto Rico, but when I bought it, I must say, it is as good as his first 2 CD's. A must buy.

Another of Jerry's Best.......2003-08-19

With the release of Ya No Soy El Nino Aquel, and in 1998 with De Otra Manera, Jerry Rivera reached the peak of his singing career. This is a very fine salsa album, even if not quite as unusal and exhilirating as the former CD. He sings wonderfully and the arrangements, all by top producers, are excellent. It is one of Jerry's longest and most substantial albums, as well.

It is nice that in addition to salsa, there are several forays into ballad type singing. I especially like Hiereme sin Compasion, where Jerry's harmonizing with the other gentlemen singers is extremely beautiful.

Unfortunately, since De Otra Manera, Jerry along with some of the other Puerto Rican superstars (e.g. Manny Manuel and Olga Tanon), have dumbed down their music for apparently commerical reasons, which is a pity.

His best cd yet........1999-10-22

Jerry's new cd is definitely his best yet. There are all different types of music on it--not just his traditional salsa. He does a ballad ("Ese") and two Mexican style songs. My fave song would have to be "De Que Vale Ser Un Rey". Definitely a must-have.

All the songs are what you expect from my Rican Jerry Rivera .Ese is the type of song that many can relate to.Keep it up Jerry, mad love for your music pro.

Jerry Rivera's new cd "De Otra Manera" is one of the best cds that Jerry has produced. In my opinion the song "Si Quieres Amar" and "Ese" (in salsa and balada)are the best songs on this album. I fell in love with them when I first listened to them. They are both beautiful songs. Jerry Rivera is a Blazin' Puertorician singer with a great voice. He looks sooooo gooood!!! I love him. I congratulate him for all of his excellent effort and for all those good looks. I hope he will continute to work hard and that god will guide him every step of his career and his life. No Tiene Brillo!!!.......2005-11-22

Este disco no esta malo, pero no tiene brillo!!! No comparten el microfono con otras estrellas de el regaeton, nada mas que Baby Ranks y Divino en la mejor cancion de el disco, "Salgo Filoteau," y Alexis y Fido en otras canciones. Los ritmos de las canciones no son muy buenas, y no suenan modernas, muchas de las canciones no son cantagiosas y las que la son no son muy buenas, como "Raggae Rockeao," y el ridiculo "Tarzan." Este disco es un disco que pronto va hacer olvidado si ya no lo ha sido. Ojala que pegen mas duro con su nuevo disco, "Pa'l Mundo."
