First time was a charm!!!.......2005-09-26

I listen to salsa all the time, however I was put to shame when my uncle introduced me to Hector Tricoche for the first time during a recent trip to Puerto Rico. Man! I never heard of this guy before, honestly! But I love Romantic Salsa as well as more traditional Salsa. This album game a new excellent romantic album besides Tony Vega or Gilberto Santa Rosa. So, if you enjoy Romantic Salsa, as I do, You'll like this one. I, do enjoy the fact that salsa has evolved more diversely. Salsa now better reflects my moods, dancing romantic, etc.

Definately A Winner!.......2004-04-06

I loved this album. All of the tracks are filled with spicy Puerto Rican rythms! Hector Tricoche is one of the salsa kings from "la isla del encanto". This man always makes me feel more of a boricua with his music. Aye dios mioooo...

Not Hector's best album........2003-07-30

This was not Hector's best or strongest album--1997's "Nuevo Amanecer" and 1999's "Salsa Por Todas Partes" were much better than this one on all counts. The best songs on this one were "Tomame O Dejame", "Mujer Prohibida" and the title track. While no match for yesteryear's legendary soneros (Adalberto Santiago, Cheo Feliciano, Tito Rodriguez,etc.)Hector is one of the best singers of his generation--unfortunately, this album's material leaves much to be desired in comparison to the two above-mentioned CDs and his solo debut "Clase Aparte".
