ok, now this album is not good lol .. i think wea latina thought it would be a good idea to try to promote tito in a urban mainstream artist, whipped up half a album .. and released it to see what happened .. now the album only has 2 good songs .. and sometimes those songs grow old .. didn't like it

I bought muy agrdecido and clase aparte and these album was incredible but for the love of god, what the hell is that borring album En otra onda??? Que vive la salsa dice Tito but where is the good salsa in this album as before ??? Don't understand why big salsero like tito did an album like that. Really disappointed. Beware.......2002-02-14

Beware! This album is only 33 minutes long! And the 2nd track, "Shut Up" is a pop number in that speedy-singing Jennifer Lopez-Destiny's Child vein -- horrors! Otherwise, some good salsa -- but way way WAY too short for the cost!!

Tito sells out.......2002-01-04

I honestly don't see what the big deal about this album is. I am appalled with the way salsa is headed: instead of actual instruments, they have syntesizers and electronic drumbeats. I always considered Tito Nieves a true salsero, but I think he made a big mistake in making this album. This album doesn't do him justice

Buen Disco Pero Podria Ser Mejor.......2001-12-28

Este es uno de los mejores discos de Tito Nieves pero no le doy cinco estrellas por:
* la cancion 2: nada contra el genero pero esta cancion no benificia un buen disco de salsa.
* la cancion 5: buena para pisar cucarachas y nada mas.
* la cancion 7: floja
las mejores canciones son la 1, 6, y 3 te tiene un duo con Ruben Blades. Por lo menos el disco trata de atraer la juventud sin perder los salseros verdaderos.

The band that made its mark with a chart-topping norteno arrangement of "Aserje" ("The Ketchup Song") on its bubbly debut last fall. this (is their) darker follow up. Funky bass, guitar and accordion pushed by the group's female vocal duo, particularly Yessica Ruiz's whiplash rasp.

Interesting atmospherics.......2000-01-30

The singer sounds corny but the cumbias rock - on occasion. Not the best of this group, but there's enough fire to make it a keeper. According to "The Billboard Guide to Tejano and Regional Mexican Music," Billboard Books, Mr. Chivo's "Specialty has been funny cumbias with catchy phrases and lots of sticky dance hooks." Maybe in their heyday, but not on this current CD where the music seems watered down. "Ya No seas Asi," and "Baila," are really cool, snappy and catchy.
