this is one of the best Dickey Lee CDs I have heard. this one has most of his big hits. the only one missing is "Red, Green Yellow and Blue" an APCO 45 he had out around 1967/68. all the hits that are here, are the best recordings I have heard on a CD of Dickey Lee. I am most pleased with this CD. Keep up the good work. it is good to see a good recording of Dickey Lee hits.

Dickey Lee: Great 70's country hits!.......2006-02-06

I wish this CD had better availability, as it has great Dickey Lee songs that are virtually lost otherwise. This is the only CD I've found with "Angels, Roses and Rain " on it. That and "9,999,999 Tears to Go" are great memories of 70's country gold that deserve preservation. Some wonderful memories on this CD...I'll probably go ahead and buy it used before it's gone!

Country With A Quiet Touch.......1998-12-14

Mention 'country music' to some people and they head for the hills. Not everyone enjoys song after song about unrequited love, but one listen to the piano stylings of Floyd Cramer and you'll be hooked for life. His recent death left a tremendous void on the bridge that connect country music lovers and the other side which wishes they would all just go on "Jerry Springer" and get it overwith. This album ---and anything else by Floyd Cramer ---is something that will occupy prominent space on your disc shelves.

NOT THE BEST ........BUT GOOD.......2001-11-15

This recording is good but it is not the best version that your money can buy. There are some very solid performances here with Emily Loesser making a great outing as Sarah, and her real life husband Don Stephenson bringing the house down with his WONDERFUL rendition of "Sit Down You're Rockin the Boat". Ron Raines(of whom I am a huge fan) sings the role of Sky well because he is a fabulous singer, but he doesn't fit the role of Masterson at all. So in this area there could have been a better casting choice. Criswell is fine as Adelaide and the rest of the cast works well. So...this is a quality recording with two standout performances but you could use your money to but better such as the 92' revival or the New 2001 Maurice Hines recording.
