TONY CHOY!?.......2005-04-30

Whoa, I use to love the band Atheist with Tony Choy on bass and the old Cynic 1991 demos with him on bass but what happened? I take it Tony has left the metal scene. Well all I can say is he was an incredible bassist in death metal. So i wish him luck with this band.....wow.

Area 305: Latin Pop with an Edge.......2002-08-21

Area 305 is one of the best Latino Pop bands to come along in a long while. Although the album's four young performers may at first seem to be part of yet another "Boy Band," they are in fact composers who also play their own instruments, and their music nicely balances heart-felt ballads with fast-tempo tracks, produced with an acoustic feel which brings to mind British pop bands like "BBMAK." Highlights of the album include forays into flamenco ("Fuera de Mí"), and cumbia ("Ay Que Rico Tu Veneno"), which show their versatility in various genres. Also worth noting is a cover of Pandora's hit "Como Te Va Mi Amor." All in all, a great debut, and a must for any serious pop collector.
