I can't believe I found Emmanuel on amazon...lol...I love this man talking about somebody singing with emotion this mans voice makes you melt and I am so happy I can buy his recordings from here.

I, too, have had this album since the early 1980's and can't imagine being without it. It is the perfect romantic album---and--evidently--timeless.

Emmanuel's Best Achievement.......2001-11-19

This is an outstanding recording combining the great musical talent of Emmanuel and the inspiration of Manuel Alejandro and Ana Magdalena. Emmanuel's unique interpretation of these romantic and timeless melodies make this a classic cd that gave Emmanuel his musical breakthrough. Very highly recommended.

a part of my life..........2000-10-22

I had the LP of this, then the cassette, now the CD. It's been through so many stages of my life it feels like "my own personal soundtrack" and is as fresh today as it was when first released in the early 80's. (the CD says 1984, but I place it in '81 or '82).

All the songs were written, arranged, and produced by the amazing Manuel Alejandro, and Emmanuel's high and slightly smoky voice is perfect for them. This was a great collaboration. Lush and romantic, it's a classic.

My favorites have always been "El Dia que Puedas", "Quiero Dormir Cansado" and "Todo se Derrumbo Dentro de Mi"...I wonder what format I'll be listening to them on in 2010 ?
