      This is the most musically developed album suite of the Polish trio. The political or sociological lyrics reflect the Polish reality of the 90s, when the country emerged from Soviet slavery. Before, Kaczmarski, the poet and leader of the band had built his impressive career on patriotic songs that cheered up every Polish intellectual in these hardship times of Soviet occupation. Right now, he has some hard messages to deliver for Poles. The nation is free, but people have their own vices that are encouraged by rapidly changing environment. The message is clear, but sad indeed. Are we as bad as Kaczmarski sees us? Did he emigrate again because he could not face our humanly ugliness?

      The songs are the masterpieces of the Polish language, one of the most difficult yet giving extensive creative freedom - languages in the world. You'll love it even if you do not understand.

      The only thing that bothers me with respect to the CD release is that the most important song "Zbigniewowi Herbertowi", has not been included. Herbert was the greatest Polish poet of the XXth century and the song was the tribute to the Master.
