Customer Reviews:
Ozaki, he is not one of those J-pop stars........2006-08-29
In some big cities, there are what are called "screen concert" on his obit. People just get together and watch his old concert films. And those "live music" are still covered by media.
His music is very rebellious and full of his conflicts with the older generation, society and his identity. These are more or less common adolescent themes and go beyond generations so that he still gets young worshippers.
I love some of his songs, but not all of them. I believe he was a great singer and still is. He is one of a limited number of singers whose songs really represent the life of the singer.
His music is his life. He was a very very honest guy and I don't feel any commercialism in his music.
