O que me fez comprar esse album foi a musica AO SUL, magnifica! Contudo, todas as faixas nos envolvem numa atmosfera que lembra Madredeus, Cocteau Twins e outros nomes nao menos essenciais para quem aprecia boa musica. Vale o investimento! Eh paz!

Album Details

'Cristal' is Ala dos Namorados' greatest achievement so far. Nuno Guerreiro's unique voice leads the band into a triumphant tour-de-force taking in the pop style of the first single 'Fim do Mundo', the smoky, jazzy mood of 'Alice' or the lively party atmosphere of 'Siga a Marinha'. No wonder the album was so warmly received when it was released in the Summer of 2000.

This is a great example of the new generation of musicians born in Portugal. The Nuno Guerreiro's astonishing voice and the excelent music that accompanies every single was, at end, a little box that reserves a great surprise!

This is an excellent release from an outstanding group. Their strongest characteristic is their love for singing, and harmonies. Its very clear that these musicians love what they do and they're extremely good at it too..... E um disco que esta sempre a tocar na minha casa.
