5 out of 5 stars Wow.......2006-11-26

I'm studying Arabic language as my fourth language now and WOW. I try to immerse myself in the culture when learning the language and Nawal's music not only has beatiful singing but the arrangements have real rhythm! I just got the CD today.. Dal'oona and Maloom are my favorites!

This is one of the greatest albums recorded in any language. Nawal El Zoghby is my all-time favorite, non-American singer. This is my favorite album by her (she has released 8 or 9). I am a person who totally hates cassettes, and this album made me record the CD to a tape so I can listen to it anywhere, no excuses. Also, it is rare to ...be interested in music in which they can't understand, as is the case here. I would reccomend this album to anyone who likes any music, for the tracks vary in sound. But make sure you hear this album, i guarantee you will NOT be disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars She is Lovely.......2001-10-09

I love the way she sings and she reminds me of my home girl Thalia, yeah the one from the latino soaps, Rosalinda, Marimar, Maria del Barrrio. Nawal is an awesome singer, I love her singing, its beautiful even though I don't understand Arabic, her music has rythm and is cheerful to follow her voice.

4 out of 5 stars Full of Spunk!.......2000-07-04

Good classical pop from the heart of the Middle East. Some slow songs, some rockin'. Accents range from Lebanese to Gulf to Egyptian. "Tia" is named after her newborn daughter... Tia! A good work overall, with new rhythms Nawal is trying out.
