I thoroughly enjoy this cd and have played it many times since I
bought it a few months ago. It has a variety of tempos and
backing intrumental sounds, but it is all good. A great voice
and lots of enthusiasm eminate from the cd.

Great stuff!.......2001-08-21

I first heard Irene on a web cast of an Italian radio station. The song was ýPer fare L'amoreý. I liked it so much I bought this CD. I'm glad I did! She sings with great passion in a sexy voice (with a face to match). I speak only a little Italian and understand it less, but this does not stop me from thoroughly enjoying this CD.

The track listing on my CD is slightly different than the listing above. I have: 1. Per Fare Lýamore 2. Tutta Diversa (Come Mi Vuoi) 3. Sconvolto Cosi`

The remaining songs are the same from ýLa Tua Ragazza Sempreý to ýCose Da Grandiý. Then I have a hidden song that I assume is ýSilenzio Slowý. If I listen to ýCose Da Grandiý (which is track 15 on my CD), it ends after 5:27. Letting it continue to play, ýSilenzio Slowý starts at 7:13 on the same track.

I was introduced to Irene Grandi by an Italian friend and I am so very thankful that he did! It is a real shame that the only people to read this review, or buy her cds, will be those who have already heard of Irene. She is one of the most popular Italian artists, and has an amazing voice, a pop voice with a hint of gravel! Very sexy.

I dont speak Italian, but her music is so catchy, innovative and interesting that it doesnt matter. I defy you not to sing along - even if you DONT speak Italian!

This is either a great introduction to Irene's music, or a great cd to complete your Irene collection.

Buy it, take that chance and discover a fantastic artist.

Fine sound, exciting pieces.......1999-12-15

The sound is clean and clear - the piano rich, the strings very alive. The performances are startling. Copland's Piano quartet emerges with sustained force. The McKinley piece is quite interesting - the phrasing and melodies refreshing. Thanks MMC for introducing me to both Chumbley and McKinley!
