Sure, you might imagine him a little differently than he really is while kicking back with Hot Sweet Ass -- you'll likely picture longer hair, dingier jeans, and a decidedly laid-back smirk (and you'll be right about the smirk) as he adventures through Amsterdam, prays for 100 degree days (so that his dad will turn on the air conditioning), vehemently scrubs his nether regions, makes love to an atheist, and wishes his junior high teacher's penchant for scratching himself hadn't gotten in the way of his mastery of algebra. No matter what you're picturing, though, what you're hearing is sure to rile you up for years of stealing his jokes at house parties and wishing he would show up to be your best friend. It might even inspire you to go to the petting zoo.

Tom Rhodes is one of the funniest comedians I've ever heard. This CD has some bits on it that almost made me piss myself.

A Great Historic CD.......2002-08-02

The Aldershot Tattoo was the premier military Tattoo in the UK during the inter-war years of the 1930s. Before there was an Edinburgh Tattoo the Aldershot show took the lead for sheer scale and spectacle. These highligted recordings have been wonderfully re-mastered from original 78 records onto CD format. The clearity of sound is quite impressive. This is what CD enhancement should be all about. On these tracks you will hear some great massed band performances. Some of these tracks include famous marches conducted by the actaul bandmasters who wrote them. McBean's "Mechanized Infantry" march, and Plater's "March of the King's Men" are two such examples. There are two recordings by the pipes and drums of the 2nd Seaforth Highlanders which are of special interest. For the lover of great martial music from the golden years of military bands you won't want to pass up this terrific CD. Strongly recommended.
