Ivan is by far the best Brazilian Songwriter since Tom Jobim, and this master piece from 1995 proves it.
1. Anjo de Mim / Covered by Sergio Mendes and Simone in 1996.
2. Menino +-
3. Saudades de Casa /is a great ballad.
4. Pra Alegrar Coracao de Moca / was a great hit then and it's among his best compositions ever (as well as performances).
5. E de Deus / the New York Voices covered it under the title:
Answered Prayers in Lins' tribute of 2000.
6. Lembra de Mim / Is perhaps the most commercialized song of the album and belongs in the same category as Daquilo Que Eu Sei / Comecar de Novo / Velas, etc. etc.
7. Camaleao / This is a new version of his 1993 hit, that Ivan and Dionne Warwick popularized in 2 diffrent versions; this one is the Portuguese one.
8. Te Amo / great lyrics.
9. Desde Que o Samba e Samba / Ivan does a great cover on this gem by Caetano Veloso.
10. Noturna / a very strong and romantic song.

This is by far Lin's best work. The poetry , elegance and sophistication in which he presents each song is a rarity these days of quick, catchy and forgettable music. This is a CD you MUST have! Save it and savor it for those romantic nights with your loved one. My favorite song is "Anjo de Mim" which means of course "Angel of Mine" ... what a beautiful song... what a beautiful CD.
