Mango is one of my favorite artists. The title track of this CD is mesmerizing. I listen to it over and over again. I highly recommend this wonderful CD.

Mango does it again. His unique voice, his captivating lyrics and the arrangements make this one of his best works yet. Ottimo lavoro e un vero piacere da godere volta dopo volta.

I have always been a fan of Mango, but this is one of the most romantic albums that mango has ever done. From the song "Mi basta il mare" to the ever-so-romantic "Gli angeli non volano" this is definitley one album to listen to with the one you love. His voice is mezmerizing, and the words and music of the songs are just beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend this album to anyone!

A good CD, he has done better.......2003-08-21

Mango continues to put out very classy, melodic music, with better and more sophisticated production each time. Disincanto continues this trend. The title track, plus the first single "Rondine" are first rate. This may be more personal preference, but as a whole, I liked his other recent CD called "Credo" (1998)....his singing, the melodies and the content seemed to hit heights for which "Disincanto" reaches, but doesn't always grasp.

The brief editorial blurb above, characterizing Disincanto as a "very mature" CD is apt. I wonder where he goes from here stylistically or emotionally.

In short: if you're a Mango fan, all the things you like about his style will be found on this CD, but probably done elsewhere as well, and maybe a little better. Try "Credo" if you can find it, which I think is his most accomplished effort to date. Also, "Mango live" is fabulous, as is an earlier album (1992) called "Come L'aqua".
