Erotic, funny, irreverent - Dalla.......2000-10-04

A classic wink and nod album from Dalla. "Disperato, erotico stomp" could be the plot line for "Sex in the City". While "Corso Buenos Aires" is a frenzied portrait of life run amuck. This album builds to a crescendo starting with the somber title track where Dalla looks poignantly back at a father figure. It continues with the irreverent "Treno A Velo" about the misadventures of a voyage through Italy. After peaking with Stomp, it turns philosophical with "Quale Allegria", that gives a simple recipe to find real happiness. This album plays with emotions with great music and lyrics.
