This CD contains various wonderful songs that I remember listening to when I was a young girl in Portugal. It brought back many memories and filled me with special emotions. It has been played already many times since I bought it and I can't get enough of it. I'm very glad I purchased this marvelous treasure and believe that anyone who buys it will be as pleased with it as I am!

60's Brazilian Pop/Rock At Its Best.......1999-12-29

If you love 60's pop/rock as much as me this is an album to own (whether you understand Portuguese or not). The melodies and arrangements on these tunes are absolutely superb. Roberto sings songs of love and lost love in the same vein as a Bobby Darin, Rick Nelson, or Gene Pitney but with a slightly heavier sound (considering the horns, electric guitars and organ arrangements). Not a bad song on this album. A perfect mix of uptempo, danceable tunes as well as some slower, heart-tugging tunes that may bring a tear to your eye. Whether Roberto is taking his vocals to the utmost potential or softly crooning in his gentle tenor, he is at his best on this album. This is one to own!
