Yeah -
This record is pretty smokin'!
Nice rhythm section (the bass players are burnin').
The sax player is pretty dope, too.
Guitarist Ben Lapidus is doin' his thing.
Y'know, the Latin Jazz scene seems to be growing more & more
in the U.S. I think these guys are outta NYC... no wonder.
It sounds authentic. Classic, yet current.
The first CD by Sonido Isleno is also worth picking-up.

Tres Is The Place is the perfect combination of the Cuban Son and Avant Garde. Each musician on the album brings a refreshing, authentic sound to my ears. Great album! Can't wait for their next one!
