5 out of 5 stars Just Great!.......2007-06-12

If anything, this video is even better than the first OyBaby. Again, it presents great songs, well-sung, while being informative without being preachy.

While I'm not the biggest fan of Rick Recht (who wrote/performed 1 or 2 of the songs), I didn't really notice; the Schneiderman sisters more than make up for him. I especially liked the fact that the Chanukkah song was written by one of the members of Bare Naked Ladies (who the producers are quick to point out consist of 5, fully-clothed, men ). The video even presents two traditional songs in Yiddish.

My wife and I also really enjoyed the way this video goes through many of the Jewish holidays, mainly by showing bits and pieces of them, and/or singing a basic song about them. The Pesach piece is especially cute.

Our 2 year old son loves it (and has since he got it at about 18 months). I would recommend that this be given to a slightly older child than the original OyBaby (say, to an 18 month old instead of a 12 month old for the original), but that may just be me. I do know that my wife and I prefer this one (at least a little bit); it's more "watch-able" for an adult.

Overall, just great (again)! Especially for something recorded at a bakery.

5 out of 5 stars we love this cd!.......2007-04-14

Our whole family, including two young children, loves this CD. It's our favorite Jewish music CD targeted at children.

5 out of 5 stars I LOVE this CD!.......2007-01-10

This is an AMAZING CD- I love every single song! It's the perfect music to enjoy with your baby.

5 out of 5 stars A joy for kids and adults alike!.......2005-10-11

I'm a huge fan of this album, and the video to which the music is set. The Schneiderman sisters deliver wonderful harmonies, and the instruments supporting their voices are used perfectly - not too much and not too little.

My 20 month old loves it so much that he's learned to ask for Oy Baby by name, and my five year old hums the tunes as we're getting ready for Shabbat, as well as the rest of the week. And my wife and I will play the CD on our own sometimes, as it puts us in a happy mood. The tunes are the classics, with an appropriate mix of Hebrew and English.

If you're looking for a great gift for yourself or for someone with young children, I would highly recommend this disc.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful for both kids and adults.......2005-02-04

I bought this album for my toddler and often find myself listening to it even when he is not around. Unlike so many of the albums aimed at young kids, this one is enjoyed as much by adults as it is by babies. Our whole family loves it. It has a nice mix of both upbeat and slower songs, and allows kids to learn well-known Jewish songs and blessings. A great sing-along album. I just wish the OyBaby company would come out with more CD's.

5 out of 5 stars I absolutely *LOVE* this album.......2004-04-17

I first heard this album in my friend's car last week when she and I were headed to a Passover lunch. I couldn't get the music out of my head the entire afternoon. I bought the CD last weekend and it hasn't left my CD player since. You don't have to be a kid to enjoy the music, which is extremely well done and lots of fun.
