The Title Says It All...Le Best.......2007-02-16

For those unaware, Indochine began as a French new wave rock band 1981 that has progressed over the years from Electronica to Goth. Unita is an excellent example of their metamorphosis. I rated it a four due to personal preference over the choice of a couple of songs being on the album; however, the CD is great to listen when your driving between Paris and Calais, or any other points on the map. From the energy of Aventurier to the sweet instrumental of Buddha Affaire, Unita is an excellent compilation of Indochine's musical talents.

Superb French pop music.......2001-01-15

A superb collection of french pop music. The production is tight, and sophiticated. The music very melodic. The only minor gripes are that the single version of 3sexe is replaced witha live version. While the live version is in itself terrific, the colection misses out on the flair of the recorded version.

I can't get enough of this album! The etheral quality and Unita's haunting vocals literally give me goosebumps! This is a great album to truely "mellow" out with, also great for meditating or as background for an intimate dinner with that special someone! Have also found that a couple of the songs actually move me to tears. "Reminds Me of a Dream" and "In My Garden" are particular favorites. Sure wish she'd come out with more albums!! Love it!!

Her music is a must to have for anyone who wants a meditation tape to take you into the realms of the angels. Along with Herb Ernst their style together is a match made in heaven.

Unita's voice is in the same class as Enya's and Loreena McKinnitt's, but with a spiritual quality and sensitivity that no one that I've heard has surpassed. The songs are spiritual without being "religious" and the melodies are enchanting. Beautiful music and artwork throughout; I can hardly wait for her next one!
