CC Couch is a former Epic Records artist who has toured in Normandy in France. In addition to singing on the Christmas albums, A French Christmas, Hispanic Christmas and O Abies, Christmas Carols in Latin, she has co-written and performed several children's albums including, Twelve Fables, Kiddancercise, Calendar Kids, Lullababy, Let There Be Light and Colors as well as I Purr – A Cat’s Tale. Teddy Irwin is an arranger / composer / musician who has won Emmy awards for his music. During his career he has worked with such talents as Bette Midler, Doc Severenson, Petula Clark and John Lennon. He has scored numerous historical documentaries in addition to composing music for Guiding Light and As the World Turns.

Don't teach French without it! .......2005-12-23

As a French teacher, I've been using this CD set for the past four years. The CDs are designed for middle school-aged students, but I can use several songs for my 4th and 5th graders. The tunes are catchy and the students love them! They offer a great alternative for older elementary school children. You can do even more with these songs in middle school.

My students' current favorite is "Mon appartement," with a great chorus that the kids love to sing (and act out). However, we are learning "La Francophonie," which might become the new favorite. The creators of the CD offer a bulk discount, which I offer to my students each year.
