Glad to see this on CD.......2001-03-30

I own an original record of this but can not listen to it because I do not have a turn table. I am so glad I can listen to it on CD. It is a bright and fun recording of Irish music. I have always loved Mary O'Hara's voice.

Mary O'Hara's Songs of Ireland.......1999-12-28

I already own this recording on cassette. My local record store told me that it was unavailable on CD. I plan on upgrading to CD fairly soon because I listen to this tape so often I have worn the writing on the case. Mary O'Hara's renditions of traditional Irish folk tunes are hauntingly beautiful and bitter sweet. If you are looking for something to laugh or cry with, this is the one! The use of her harp as accompaniment only adds to the flair of the Irish style and resonates with her voice. I can not recommend this recording highly enough to anyone looking for good Irish folk music.

I understand Mary O'Hara made a recording of Sydney Carter's LORD OF THE DANCE which are word set to an old Shaker tune. Can you tell me if this is still available. The information I once had stated the Galaxy Music Corp in Galliard, NY put it out. How can I find out more about obtaining this???
