PAOLA TURCI IS ONE OF THE BEST FEMALE SINGERS POP ROCK OF ITALY, IN THIS ALBUM SHE FINDS HERSELF IN A POP ROCK STYLE, ALL THE SONGS (EXCEPT "SOLO COME ME", THE FIRST TRACK) ARE COVERS BUT SHE TRANSFORMS THEM THAN THEY ARE UNRECOGNIZABLE BECAUSE OF HER SWEET AND SEXY VOICE... YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM, DON'T REGRET IT.

Paola Turci has always been one of the lesser known assets of Italian music. Her vocal range and willingness to experiment make her one of the top female pop artists. Oltre le nuvole is perhaps her finest work. It has a rather upbeat tempo and studied orchestration that lead you to hit the replay button on your cd player time after time. If your genre is pop/rock then do not miss this cd.

Keeps getting better.......2001-06-16

I last wrote that "oltre le nuvole" was Paola's best. Well, she is even better yet on her latest, "mi basta il paradiso". Good, strong lyrics with upbeat, uptempo instrumentals. Ms. Turci is a song stylist par excellence and makes for better listening than many of the current crop of Italian pop singers in that she is very understandable. Even my wife, who doesn't speak Italian, enjoys her! Her next can't come out soon enough for me.

Absolute terrific songs, from romantic to pop !!.......2001-02-01

Paola has absolutely done a terrific work here, starting with 'Questione di sguardi', to 'Fai che ci sei', the superb 'Sabbia bagnata' and my favorite 'Troppo tardi'. Very good work, also with covers. Defintely Paola has exceeded her last work 'Oltre le nuvole', which by the way is also terrific.

An advice for the readers fond of real music: you absolutely cannot lose this cd! It's absolutely wonderful, full of atmosphere and original.
Its ten melodic songs are something I did not listen to since a very long time, not only regarding Italian music but in general.
This cd is ideal to be listened inside your car or in your room, by yourself or with people who appreciate the magic atmospheres that it contains.
