Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars OK....Im gonna be totally serious about it..........2006-01-12

I bought this CD specially for the second track that I heard in some other collection. After listening the whole deal I found out that is totally electronica/techno/native type of thing. Mostly electronica tho. I said "native" not referring to just one culture. It sounds like it has a little bit of everywhere. I do not know NOTHING about this guy/girl, but it seems that wants to show us something out of whatever you might expect.
OK. let's talk about each track...one at the time.

INDIAN RASTAMAN - this is the intro... there's no lyrics, just something to get you started with....kinda slow but groovy. Might be wrong, but is sounds like a fiddle in front of the electronica beat.

XIN - Starts with or 2 girls singing in some language/dialect (maybe not) just capella and then, the beat starts getting in... then BUM!, you get a mix of some kinda reggae with electronica. My favorite track. Highly recommended. You might be able to listen to this one on the World 2004 CD collection.(avaliable on Amazon).

RUO - This one starts with a techno/electronica bulgarian/russian (dont know for sure) type of thing. The melody is totally techno with some chants on the background. You gotta love this one.

CRIY - this is totally electronica. Starts with some old tune of some west european country. Then someone just talks on the backround blended with the electronica beat. Pretty cool.

TRUMINY - There's no lyrics on this one. Just the industrial/techno mix.

VUBA - Starting with some dude talking some european language (sound like italian, dunno). Then the techno/electronica beat blending with the dude's voice. (I still think is italian, once again, might be wrong). The tune then changes into some kinda rap/reaggae type of thing. I would call it "house music".

CARPROMIS - No lyrics on this one. There's just a speedy techno beat that starts getting some kind of static, but you still are able to follow the rythm. It goes fast, it ends quick.

TELEFON - I dunno if these people are talking russian or not, maybe some other language that sounds alike. There's 2 people talking over the phone on the background, and there's a heavy techno/industrial beat over the conversation. Lovely mix.

GORGOLUS - The music sounds like some kind of experiment of sounds. I dont hear any talking or lyrics at all... just electronica in different ways. Very experimental.

SKAKNDINAMITE - This is reggae style with electronica.

HUIIE - Indian chants blended with electronica. I love this one too. The melody then starts getting distorted, then coming back to the original sound. This goes back and forth a couple of times till it gets real rough. there's a lot of techno beat in this one too.

FATZ - Electronica. Groovy.

LAST ATOMIC BOMB - Hungarian music blended with electronica...well, at least sounds kinda gypsy to me. Good sounds.

ZOIPRUMIS - Electronica. Voices coming out of nowhere. distorted. laughs on the background, like a TV show. the beat sounds individual then it changes to a lot of electronica beats. Fast and curious.

Well...that's it.... probably won't help you that much since you can not listen to it, at least not in this page, but trust me.... it is really good and DIFFERENT. I like DIFFERENT.
